How will I use these new learning, skills and knowledge in my work when I return? My career is started with a public service examination which is called Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Exam. I was successfully entered here in 1994 as an Assistant Commissioner and Magistrate. This is a glorious start up of a service life in governance in a country like Bangladesh. I have been serving more than 17 years in Government Service in different ministries where I have successfully served the following responsibilities extensively Assist and Advice the team formation for different development Monitoring and Evaluate the proposals in monthly development coordination meeting in district coordination committee and policy making process at the center of government Provide ongoing technical assistance, support and coaching in respect of the governance and policy formulation Assist in collection of data to support different policy, proposals and recommendations Coach and mentor for professional development in national services Assist in inter-departmental policy coordination mechanism develop an action plan and a process for revision and restructuring Review baseline for policy recommendations Assist training the relevant directorate staff in the revision, drafting, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of policy making processes Carry out other capacity development relevant tasks Assist in Human Resources Management
