The KARL STORZ hand instruments for diagnostics and therapy of proctological diseases are very robust and easy to maintain and they also permit the documentation of every procedure through innovative solutions. Transanal Endoscopic Operations TEO

It is estimated that there are 60,000 new cases of colorectal cancer and 30,000 related deaths per year in Germany; about 50 % involve the rectum. Transanal Endoscopic Operations (TEO) have become increasingly common over the past few years. The appropriate telescope and endoscopic instruments can be inserted via a 40 mm rectoscope, permitting very precise resections in the entire rectum.

INSTRUMENTS FOR LAPAROSCOPIC COLORECTAL SURGERY acc. to LEROY

Experience from hundreds of laparoscopic rectal resections was used to develop special retractors for exposing tissue planes after incision as well as an anal dilator with integrated fiber optic light transmission for easier positioning of the stapler in the anal stump.

HOLDING AND RETRACTION SYSTEMS
