No other display ads are displayed
while the homepage takeover is
shown

Recommendations
Make sure you specify a background colour for the background image. This
will fll the areas around the background image for users with large windows.
Keep in mind that the content will be centered in the new template, so put
your important message in the middle section of the background image
Try to make the edges of the background image fade to match the
background colour

Homepage Takeovers
While the homepage takeover is displayed, no other display ads (banners, skyscrapersj will
interfere with the takeover. Audio ads may still play however.

Both the background image and the interactive area are clickable and trackable. These
can click through to the same web page or to two different web pages (provided the links are not
to a Lightboxj.
No image can be transparent
When displaying a video with sound in the 800x235 it needs to have a play/pause button
videos without sound can start playing instantly and do not need a play/pause button
Always provide a background color so that the Spotify client's window will be flled out in a satis-
factory manner for users with larger screens.
