Make a Megaphone
Say: God wants us to tell people about Jesus. Explain that kindergartners will make megaphones to use to tell about Jesus. Provide paper or foam cups for each kindergartner. Cut out the bottom. Print on a large sheet of paper the Bible verse Tell people everywhere about Jesus. Matthew 28:19-20. Distribute markers and stickers so kindergartners can copy the Bible verse on their megaphones and decorate them. Those who are not yet printing easily may choose to print only the name Jesus on the megaphone. Allow time for kindergartners to practice using their megaphones to tell their friends about Jesus and things He did.

Work Puzzles
Open your Bible to Ephesians 6:7. Say: Work together happily. Uncle Abram and his nephew Lot worked together. Pair up the kindergartners. Provide a puzzle for each pair to work. Encourage the boys and girls to take turns as they work together to assemble the puzzles.

Cut pieces of yarn about 6 inches long. Hide these around the room. Challenge kindergartners to find as many as they can. When all the strings have been found, ask each kindergartner to place (not tie) her strings together, end-to-end. Congratulate the kindergartner with the longest string for being such a good finder. Let the kindergartners take turns hiding their pieces of string for others to find. (They cannot find their own pieces.) Play until parents arrive.

Print the words north, south, east, and west on sheets of construction paper. Illustrate each word using an icicle for north, a sun for south, waves for a river for east, and a cowboy hat for west. Read each word with the children several times. Tape one to each of the four walls in the classroom. Have kindergartners stand in the middle of the room. Explain that you will call out one of the directions and they are to face that way. Begin calling out directions slowly, but then call them out faster and faster. Play until parents arrive.
