CRMADDON Factory offers you several support and update options Note
Support can only be offered for the most recent version, and there is no guarantee for a successful solution. Our goal is to offer quick and helpful support. The more detailed your query is, the more specific we can analyze and process your request. Please note: support requests that do not include the information we have requested may take longer to answer or might not be answered at all. Free Knowledgebase The extensive knowledgebase is free of charge and should be the first thing to check if you have any questions. Upgrade and Updates More details can be found here. Test Period The support during the trial period of an addon is free of charge. This includes the extensive knowledgebase as well as our web based support ticket system. Our goal is to give you quick and helpful support. The more detailed your query is, the more specific we can analyze and process your request. Free Installation Support Within 60 days after purchase we offer 30 minutes (maximum) of free installation support. This includes the installation, configuration and integration of the individual software module on one(1!) already installed standard Windows PC. Additional expenses are not included, resulting from unforeseen circumstances (such as adaptation work or procurement of drivers, additional programs or similar, and configuration changes to workstations or servers, Data transfer from external systems). Free Support Support request with 72 hours response time (Monday to Friday) This support includes a request using the ticket system. Answers are displayed on the system in written form. There is no entitlement for a remote session from our side. The more detailed your query is, the more specific we can analyze and process your request. Please note: support requests that do not include the information we have requested may take longer to answer until we have received all necessary information. We require an active participation from your side, which means: questions from our side have to be immediately answered. Please only use the ticket system. We offer free support for the first installation of one of our addons on one computer. Paid Support Support request with a maximum of 48 hours response time (Monday to Friday). The more detailed your query is, the more specific we can analyze and process your request. This support includes a request using the ticket system. Answers are displayed on the system in written form. There is no entitlement for a remote session from our side. Please note that all requests not including the required information will be deferred until we receive all necessary details. We require an active participation from your side, which means that you will answer immediately to all questions from our side. If it is helpful to solve problems, we may decide to start a remote session from our side on your PC. For this we need your active cooperation. An appointment for the remote session can be made during normal business hours. Paid support is charged in advance. Support will be billed in 15-minute units. Installation
You can download the setup of your addon here, but first you need to register on our website or login with your current login details on the 'My Account' page. www.crmaddon.com/downloads

ATTENTION
ACT! and all other ACT! dependent processes must be closed You can select whether to open or save the file. If you select 'Save' a ZIP file be saved on your computer. This ZIP - file can be saved on a removable disk (USB stick) and then you can install the addon on computers which do not have access to the internet.

Click on the file and then on 'Run'

Click on 'Yes' if you want to install the addon

Installation without Internet


ATTENTION PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ON BOTH COMPUTERS THE SAME ACT! VERSIONS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED and that you have not installed any other addon of CRMADDON! If you want to install the addon on a computer without internet connection, at first you need to follow these steps:

1. download and save the addon on a computer which has internet access

2. extract the .exe and run it once on this computer If you do not have any other CRMADDON addon installed there will be new files created in the directory of the .exe

3. you need to copy the new created files on a USB or removable disk (depending on the addon there can be 4 .exe!) 1. General.exe 2. DevExpress.exe 3. CRMADDON's.exe 4. move the USB / removable disk to the PC where you want to install it 5. install each packet in the stated order: 1. General.exe 2. DevExpress.exe 3. CRMADDON's.exe 6. After you installed all packages the addon will run on your computer Please note to license the addon you need internet connection - without internet the registration is not possible

Licensing
You can test each of our addons 14 days - totally free! The demo version has all the functions as the full version (except Import IT and Export IT). At the end of the trial period you will be noticed that the evaluation version will expire soon. If you do not buy the addon, you will not be able anymore to open the addon after the trial period.

To use the addon with the full functionality you need to register it with a valid license key. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Open the Configuration of your addon Click on the tap 'License' Enter the license key (serial number) you received via an email Click on 'Register' - you do not need to select Evaluation/NFR/USB/License Define the directory where you want to save the license

Upgrade License
You recognize on the email you receive if it is an upgrade. The email looks like this: Upgrade (activationkey) for 3 more licenses Import CRMADDON COUNTER Professional IT.NET CGFSX-8Fd95-u23cW-BtW8P-WPC5M-36A59 Shows you for how many licenses the upgrade is. Which addon and version is it for? This shows the new license key

If you want to add additional licenses or to upgrade your addon, go to 'Show License Info'.

The following window appears. There you need to click on 'Activation Key' and enter the activation key in the next window.

Afterwards you can see how many licenses you have and how many are still available.

With 'Shareware' you can use the Addon for 14 days without using any license. The option 'Local Dongle' is out of date and thus useless.

License your Addon under 'Software License'. Please enter in 'Code' the license number which you received from us. Under 'Deregistration' deactivate your license. Click on 'Registration' if you want to register your license. Click on this button to close configuration. .

Select here whether the notes of the contacts shall be exported with data and/or user information.

Select here the group if you wish to export only a designed group.

Select here the types of records to be displayed when exporting the data.

Reset here all types of records, i.e. none of these types will be displayed in the Export file. All types of records can be selected here at once, i.e. all these types will be displayed in the export file. Please click on 'Configuration' to open the configuration of Export 6. Click on 'Export' if you wish to export the files. Click on 'Close' if you wish to close the window.

Click on

to create a new scheme as well as the corresponding settings.

Subsequently this window will show up. Select the type of your new scheme and name it in 'Name'. (as in our example: KontakSchema_11022010) The here selected data type will be exported.

Types to be selected: Contacts, Group, Groups to Contacts, Company, Opportunities, Notes, History, Activities, Products, User, Data Format, User Defined Tables, Secondary Contacts

Clicke on to save the selected type and to return to the start page of the application. Save your scheme with the button . If you wish to cancel a scheme, click on .

If you wish to use an existing scheme, you can select it from the drop down list of your existing schemes.

Create a scheme of the type History.

Re-import of Data
Do you want to export first some data and to re-import it then into a database? Please observe the following before exporting the datasets:

An ID will be allocated to each contact in ACT! You are not able to call up this ID, however, it exists. All activities, histories, etc. allocated to the contact will have the same ID. This so-called ID is important for you if you want to import your data into a new database or a new program after export. If selecting 'Check with IDs' the IDs will also be saved in the file. During import the IDs will be imported as well and the affiliation of data will remain.
