Introduction

Tawa-Tawa or the Euphorbia hirta is a plant that its extract has already a fragrance that can be used as an air freshener. In that case our group decided to use it as an air freshener. We use it because we want to make an air freshener that will not harm us as well as the environment in other word an eco-friendly air freshener. The other factor is that, this plant is abundant throughout the Philippines, in waste places and grasslands. We have a research that this plant is antibacterial because the extract of this showed non-cytotoxin (not toxic to cells) and an effective antibacterial agent. It can also kill the Salmonella. This plant is also an anti-allergenic plant because it inhibits the early and late phase allergic reactions. It shows that this will not affect or harm allergic person that is the strength of our product and that will be the one of our advantage from the others. This will not also mix with the smell of unpleasant odor because of its property of being an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, it will fight against fungal and bacteria that produce unwanted smell. This plant is also considered an anti-asthmatic plant because of the phytochemicals found in this plant. Our main objective is to make an air-freshener that is ecofriendly, has long lasting scent, cheap and different from other. Our product will also help in advocating the proper using of natural resources, conserving our environment and preventing and minimizing the pollution in our environment like air and water.
