Project Description:
The project aims to build a data warehouse solution for business people at their business, by integrating the business data from various source systems. The solution will use a Dimensional Model to providing a multidimensional view and allow analytical and ad-hoc reporting. Roles and Responsibilities:

Data migration from one environment to another environment using ETL Datastage tool. Extracting, Transforming and Loading data from Source to Staging and Staging to Target according to the Business requirements. Preparation of Low Level Design for the mappings created. Involved in performance tuning by optimizing the sources, targets, mappings and sessions. Used Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, and Packages. Prepared Unit test cases for the mappings. Prepared Integrated Test Plan for different feeds. Involved into the preparation of deployment plan which contains list of mappings and workflows they need to migrate bases on this deployment team migrate the code from one environment to another environment.

Project Summary Business Loan Information System involved in loan amounts for various purposes like personal loan, vehicle loan, housing loan, and customer durable loans. The company requires different level of analysis regarding loan amount, type of customer and type of payment schedules, interest calculation. The data warehousing basically is a data model, as it covers only one domain of the business and capture data from their transaction database maintained under client/server architecture. Responsibilities: Understand the existing project infrastructure system. Installing oracle server on Windows NT & Windows-2000 flatform. Creating views,functions,managing database structure(physically).

Modified the existing ETL jobs as per changed business logic. Created Source and Target Definitions in the repository using Datastage Source Analyzer and Warehouse Designer. Identified source systems, connectivity, tables, and fields, ensure data suitability for mapping. Involved in Extraction, Transformation and Loading of the data from different data sources like Flat files and Oracle to the Data warehouse. Importing Source Tables from the respective databases and created Reusable Transformations and Mappings using Designer Tool set of Datastage Developed mappings using Datastage Designer to load data from various source systems to target database.
