setup yet (See PLM_Foundation_Lab.doc for more details) Login in using Username: Operations, Password: welcome (N) Human Resources, Vision Enterprises, Standard > People > Enter and Maintain > Click the New button 3. Enter a freeform Last Name, First Name, Title and Birth Date. Note the name of the person you created for later reference. 4. Select Gender 5. Select Action: Create Employee. When Person Type window appears select Employee 6. Enter a Social Security number 7. Click Save 8. Click the Assignment button 9. Click on the List of Values (LOV) in the Job field > Query ENG% > Select ENG400.Engineer > Click Ok 10. When window appears with Update and Correction buttons click Correction 11. (N) System Adminstrator > Security: User > Define 12. Enter a Username 13. Change the Password 14. In person field find the person you just created 15. Add responsibilities: Development Manager, Development Engineer, Project Super User, Project Billing Super User, Product Manager, Preferences SSWA, Workflow 16. Click Save 17. Login as your newly created Design Engineer 18. Reset your password to welcome 19. Click the Personalize button in the Favorites section 20. Select Development Manager in the Responsibility field, then click Go 21. Select: Setup Workbench, Favorite Items, Create Production Items, Create Engineering Items, Item Simple Search, Item Advanced Search, Browse Catalog, Change Simple Search, Change Advanced Search, Roles, People, Groups and Companies, Create Change Order, Create Change Request, Change Organization, Notifications 22. Click Add then Apply 23. (N) Peoples, Groups and Companies > Roles Tab > Create Role > Object Name: Item > Next 24. Enter Name and Description as XXX Design Engineer (Where XXX is your initials) 25. Select all privledges 26. Click Save and Map Roles afer selecting. 27. Select Role Mapping as follows 28. Click Apply 29. (N) Home > Setup Workbench > Security Tab 30. Enter Vision Operations then Click the Magnifying Glass and select that Organzation

Click Go Click the Update button Click Add Another Row and Add the employees you just made 34. Role: XXX Design Engineer, Type: Person, Name:<Your Design Engineer>, Click the Magnifying Glass and Select that Person Click Apply

Click People Hypertext 7. Click Update button 8. Click Add Another Row button 9. Select Role Catalog Category User 10. Enter the name of the person you just created Click Apply
