N. REGULATION AND OPERATION

After finishing installing the control box, before not connecting external electrical equipments, · should check whether the adjusted date of each electric element are loosened, and they satisfy the demond designed. The main checking and adjusting contents are following:

1. Check whether the contactors and relay are qualified products.

2. Check and repulate the current of the thermal relay and overcurrent relay,

3. Check and regulate the time of the delay relay.

After the box is linked to the external electric equipments, the link-lines of all parts should be checked carefully according to the electric pprinciple diagram of box. After proving there is not any error, the control box can be operated.

V . MAINTEANCE

In order to ensure that' the box can work smoothly, the device must be over-hauled regularly. The overhauling period is defined according to the working frequency as well as the practical environment (right or wrong) and ·the place of the device (important of secondary), etc. But the over-hauling times is not at least less than the following rated times. The maintenance for the control box is devided into two kinds, general check and extensive overhaul. The general check is once per halfmonth and · the extensive over-haul 3 months. 1. General Check 1) Before ·the check, the power must be cut off. HOTLING CHECKING STRICTLY PROHIBITED. 2) Clear the dust and dirty in and out of the box. 3) Check whether the fastening pieces of each electric element are loosened, the active mechanism is movable, and it is short circuit between the live parts and the box housing. If such appearance arose, should repair it. 4) Check whether the parts of the box become rusty. If they were so, should repair them. When checking the contact of the electric elements, if the oxide and tiny melt were found on the contact surface, should clear then and keep it to the original shape and higher smooth, so as to ensure that the contact head have reliable contacting. If the silver coating contact were burnt up of blackened, it couldn't be cleared by the thin file, but would be cleared with the clothe dipped by gasoling, and then gasoling would be wiped off.

::

5) Check whether the contact springs and non-magnetic spacer of all contacters and relays are right. If they were damaged, they would be repaired snd renewed.

6) Check whether the insolution resistance is in keeping with the date specified in the technical conditions (if not, should repair it).

7) Check whether the earthing device is right, the earthing screw is loosened. If the screw were found loose, should be finished.

2. Extensive overhaul

Before doing extensive overhaul, the prepare work should be finished. 1) Cut off the input power of the box. 2) Remove the external conductor linked to the out of the box. whfn the box is overhauled, the following items must be finished except the below general check.

( 1)Check whether the contracting and releasing-voltage and current satisfy demond. (2)Check and adjust the moving current of the thermal relay.

(3)Ciear dust and dirty on the explosion resistaut cover (internal and external) and coi, if it were, should repair and renew it.

(4) Cheak whether the earthing ofthe box is right. If not or broken, it would be repaired.

3. Protection when working ( 1)Check whether there are any other things out of the box which hinder it cooling normally.

(2)Check whether the out of the box is over-temperature.

(3)Check whether the application of the box fits into the working system of the box

specifiec and observe the working condition of the mating motors with the box. If there were

any non general appearance, should doing checking at once and get rid of it.

VI.

SAFE

Sealing np safeeping ( 1) Clear the dust and the dirty in and out of the box. Check whether all elements are right. If

not normal, should repair them. Check the cold insolation resistance. Once all parts are qualified, bpply a thin coat of nonacid vasoline on the non-painting metal parts (e.g name-

plates and fastening pieces, etc.) and the place where cladding materials is damages.

(2) Avoid accumulating dust, should wrap the box by water-proof canvas. Should keep the storehouse for box clean and dry, the temperature form 0 to 135"C and the

relative humidity from 55 to 70% .The storehouse couldn't exist any corrosive gases. Must check the box regularly (not less than once per half-year) during sealing. If it were

found that bad sealing causes corrosion or other errors, should remove it at once. After

finishing cheching. Must put a oil seal on the box again.
