- PAKISTAN'S PARLIAMENTARIANS VISIT SAIBABA TEMPLE @ SHIRDI 24th Feb`2012

More then diplomatic relations between India & Pakistan, it was not only a dream come true but also a Life saving experience for two Members of Pakistan's Parliament, Mr.Gul Muhammad Khan Jakhrani and Mr.Ramesh Lal, when they visited Shirdi for having darshan of Sai Baba's Samadhi.

While flying to Mumbai for Shirdi, they experienced Sai Baba's Miracle Midair. It so happened that they took the 14:30 flight from Jaipur to Mumbai for Shirdi, but Midair, some technical problem occurred in the flight and smoke started coming out. Soon, the entire flight was covered with smoke so much so that an Emergency was declared and the Air-conditioning was also shut off. All the passengers on-board started to panic and these two Pakistani Parliamentarians started to pray to Sai Baba for everybody's safety. Soon enough at 16:30 their Flight made an safe landing at Ahmedabad`Gujarat Airport from where they caught another flight for Mumbai, from where they made it to Shirdi. Both these Pakistani Parliamentarians regard this as Baba's divine Blessing on them, as by saving their lives, Sai had given them a new life. This has further more strengthened their Faith in Sai Baba.

On finally reaching Shirdi, they paid their obeisance at Sai Baba's Samadhi Shrine, and minced no words while praying for the further strengthening of cordial ties between India & Pakistan. They also made a special prayer on behalf of the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari & his family. They said that they had heard a lot about Shirdi Sai Baba through various medias, esp, TV serials and they were attracted to Baba because of HIS message of 'Sabka Malik Ek' which categorically indicated towards valuing relationships and in bringing harmony amongst all the religions, be it Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs etc. They added that this side of the Sub-continent has witnessed many to Sufi/Saints like Sai Baba who belonged to none but were always there for all and there were Shirdi Sai Baba temples in cities like Karachi in Pakistan as well, but they were keen on visiting the Sai Baba Temple @ Shirdi and Insha Allah, their dream had finally come true.

Conversing in Hindi & English, while interacting with media persons after having Baba's darshan,

the parliamentarians categorically insisted on more efforts to be made for strengthening the ties between the two countries. They said that India was not only a good neighbor but also a good commercial hub, so far as business ties were concerned and, this shall help both the neighboring countries in strengthening their economies as well. Meanwhile, referring to the following of Shri Sai Baba in Pakistan, the two MPs informed about setting up a special Shirdi Sai Baba's Swaroopa in Karachi's Shiv Temple where not just Hindus but Muslims also visit to pay their obeisance. Later, the Shirdi Sansthan facilitated them with a copy of Sai Baba's "Shri Sai Satcharitra", vastra and prasad. Then both the Parliamentarians were taken to Dwarkamayi, for the darshan of Baba's ever burning Dhuni & then to the Sai Baba Museum, where they saw all the articles used by Baba during his lifetime.
