Appendix - A Tank Cleaning Process Our process of cleaning drinking water tank is automated, scientific and efficient. Most of the work is done by leveraging the machines to clean the drinking water tanks. This new concept of Drinking Water Tank Cleaning process involves a totally professional, scientific and hygienic approach to the complete system of Drinking Water Tank cleaning operation from start to end. This process involves 6-steps of cleaning and the same is explained below: Step-1 (Mechanized Dewatering) - In the first stage of our unique Drinking Water Tank Cleaning Process, we use de-watering pump to de-water the excess water in the tank. However we request our customers to not waste the useful water and hence keep water level low before our operation starts. Step-2 (Sludge Removal) - In the second stage of cleaning, we use sludge removal pump to remove the sludge, mud and sand from the bottom surface of the tank. Step-3 (High Pressure Cleaning) In the third stage we use German High Pressure Cleaning Machines which produces a jet of water at a very high pressure, for cleaning tank thoroughly. The pressure of this machine is so effective that there is not even a slightest trace of any algae or dirt clinging to the walls, flooring or ceiling of the tank. Step-4 (Vaccum Cleaning) - After thoroughly cleaning the insides of the tank the total dirty water is removed along with the sludge using a vacuum suction pump, and disposed off to a safe place where it does not create any hygiene problems. Step-5 (Anti-bacterial Spray)- We have developed TANCLEAN anti-bacterial sterilising agent which has a proven broad spectrum anti-bacterial action effective against a very wide range of micro organisms including RNA Virus. It is non-toxic to primary skin, mucus membrane, oral and gastrointestinal tract at the recommended dosage of use. Step-6 (UV Radiation) In the final stage, we use UV treatment to ensure that the bacteria available in the air are destroyed and the tank is 100% bacteria free and made perfectly fit for storing clean drinking water. The above process is common for both the underground and overhead drinking water storage tanks and can be used for all types of tanks like Concrete Tanks, Fabricated Steel tanks, Plastic Sintex Type) tanks etc. The unique combination of the special anti bacterial agents used in the process of cleaning the water tanks and UV treatment of the walls, is totally a novel feature of this cleaning process developed, tried and tested by us for the last 6 years. It is important to mention here that, the personnel who are employed by us are thoroughly trained by us specifically for this job, and they are totally themselves clean and tidy. We have a system where they use sterilised boots and hair caps while doing final cleaning operations, to ensure that not even a slightest chance of contamination.
