Research Methodology: 3 Types Of Researches

1- Effects of Tourism on Architecture

A Correlative Research Study Introduction:
Tourism is basically a traveling and staying in places outside usual environment for not more than 1 consecutive year for recreational, leisure, or business purposes. The origin of modern vacation time can be traced back to the 1930s, when workers in France, for the first time, were given the right to twelve paid vacation days. Today, tourism has become a total lifestyle experience. The past two centuries have witnessed an increase in the commoditization of tourist sites across the world. Everything from historical monuments to exotic holiday destinations has been redesigned and packaged for mass consumption. As a result, the histories of specific sites have been re-conceptualized. Some have been preserved and celebrated, while others have been left to decay. In this process, buildings, cities and entire countries have been remapped by tourism initiatives to serve political, cultural, economic and scholarly goals.

Aim:
To study how tourisms factors affects architecture, and how tourism is governing architecture to shape according to it.

Objective:
To analyze the effects of tourism on a countries economy How tourism promotes architecture. Analyzing what is the relation of tourism with conception of the place. Pros and cons of tourism in relevance with architecture.

Scope of study:
Basic history of tourism. Categorization of tourist. Economics of tourism WTO- world tourist organization Attractions for tourist industry Case studies

2- Design Strategies to Assist Healing

A Descriptive Research Study Introduction:
Designing a conducive environment for patients requires knowledge of the associated social, economic and technical facets. The design strategies to assist healing should be non detrimental and facilitating. Patients needs, satisfaction comforts and expectations should be given due consideration. There is ample evidence that exposure to nature has a positive healing effect. The primeval forces of nature - Sun, Wind, Earth and Water, all have a mystifying positive effect and enrich the environment. The architecture plan should offer humanistic patient services and a setting for efficient, technologically advanced facilities. Master planning should be organized, flexible and have future growth potentials. It should be patient focused, adjustable to individual needs, capable of absorbing the dynamics of changing situations and embracing new systems.

Aim:
To identify the designing elements and spaces thats help in better healing through physical and mental comfort of patients.

Objective:
Physical Comfort such as Appropriate Lighting. Architecture should incorporate positive use of sounds. Intensity, color, and temperature of light source are important parameters. Architecture design should not lead to direct glare which causes eye fatigue and loss of concentration Effect of exposure to nature

3- Evolution of hospital architecture

A Historical Research Study Introduction:
Throughout history, the place where the sick have been cared for has transformed. These healing environments have ranged from the home, to the church, and then developed to what we now understand as hospitals.

Aim:
To study how healing spaces turns into a complicated design structures of today known as hospital buildings

Objective:
To study the historical spaces type used as healing environment. Role of Florence Nightingale in evolution of hospital spaces Role of emerging technologies in shaping Hospital Architecture Flexibility concerns in Hospital Architecture Todays evolution based designing approach

Scope of study:
Study will be a holistic approach towards Hospital Architecture Identifying the basic criterias for development of hospital architecture Factors still applicable for the changing and developing design of hospitals
