Cimetrics solution to remote metering is the E+ series products which connect to the existing Modbus RTU/TCP, MS/TIP or KYZ relay meters and make them available remotely via BACnet IP.
DESCRIPTION This box connects up to 4 PULSE meters and makes the counts available via BACnet/IP. The meter counts are stored to flash memory. This box connects MS/TP devices and makes them available in BACnet/IP. This device requires no mapping because ALL data on the one BACnet/IP side is transparently passed to the other side (BACnet MS/TP) and vice versa. This box connects to up to 4 Steam, BTU, or Electrical meters. The meter data is stored in internal memory and values are made available to the BACnet Network

In this document we will first provide information how to add Cimetrics BACnet device to the Niagara Jace and then how monitor and export data for energy monitoring purposes.

You can auto discover Cimetrics BACnet device or add to Jace manually if the Jace is offline.
Page5
3. Click OK to initiate the discovery process. A progress bar appears at the top of the view, and updates as the discovery occurs. 4. When the discovery job completes, discovered BACnet devices are listed in the top pane of the view, in the Discovered table. The bottom pane, labeled Database, is a table of devices that are currently mapped into the Niagara stationinitially, this table will be empty. Note: This works the same as in most Device Manager views. To add learned devices, see the next section.

Name in the following format: aaa-bbbb-ccc where: - aaa is the BACnet Device Location/Application; you wrote down earlier. See REQUIRED CONFIGURATION FOR CIMETRICS DEVICE chapter on page 2. - bbbb Cimetrics Device model B6070 or B6000 or B6030 - ccc - Cimetrics BACnet Device # you wrote down earlier. See REQUIRED CONFIGURATION FOR CIMETRICS DEVICE chapter on page 2. Example: If you have B6030 with BACnet Device Location/Application Test Lab and BACnet Device # 143456 then the name of your device will be: Test LabB6030-143456 Type select Bacnet Device. Device ID type BACnet Device # you recorded earlier. MAC Addr type MAC address you recorded earlier Enabled set to True Use Cov - A flag specifying whether Niagara attempts to subscribe for COV notifications, as a way to monitor proxy point values.

If the device was learned, and Niagara determined that the device indicates support for serverside COV, this flag defaults to true. Otherwise, this flag is false. In this case, no proxy points under the device will use COV. Max Cov Subscriptions - (Applies only if Use Cov is true.) Specifies the maximum number of COV subscriptions that Niagara will attempt to use with this device. This allows the station to restrict itself from consuming all of the available subscription space in that device. Poll Frequency - Specifies the polling frequency group (Slow, Normal, Fast) for polling this device, as well as for all its proxy points (regardless of their individual poll frequency settings). Default is Normal. Note: Poll Frequency property is not used for AX-3.2, and may be hidden from the Add/Edit dialog in future builds.
2. Drag the BacnetDevice from the palette into the Database pane of the Bacnet Device Manager. A popup Name dialog prompts for the Niagara name for this BacnetDevice. 3. Enter the name format described on previous page, then click OK. The BacnetDevice is added to the station, and appears listed in the Database pane. 4. To edit the device, double-click it for the Edit dialog. This dialog is like the Add device dialog, but in this case values are not pre-populated from any discovery.

You can also use BACnet Supervisor for configuring communication with Cimetrics BACnet Device. It uses much of the same software as the regular BACnet driver.

3. Click the Add button to add highlighted logs to the right-side. In general, best results occur by selecting 6 or fewer logs, and no more than 2 different units. To remove an added log, click it and then click Remove.

4.
Click in the top (Title) field and drag to highlight the current Untitled text.
Type in an appropriate title for your selected logs. Note If using the Log Selector with the goal of saving charts, you should not skip this Title step. The default title is Untitled <datestamp>, for example, Untitled Thu Dec 06 15:12:00 EST 2001. Your generated chart displays with this title. If you save it, it will be listed in the Saved Charts the same way. 6. With your titled entered and logs selected, click the Chart button. The chart appears showing your selected title and logs.

10. When finished with the wizard, the log data should appear in your worksheet. 11. Save your spreadsheet for recall later. Note You can reopen your saved worksheet later and update the data. From Excels menu bar, select Data > ! Refresh Data, then Import. After entering your username and password for the station, select Import once more. Data is then updated.
