Architecture will continue to expand my understanding and abilities exponentially. I have a Bachelors

Working on a range of projects from conceptual housing to remodeling of a retirement community

Currently, I am enhancing my feld and material knowledge through a weekly training class held by
Masterworks Construction. Throughout my experience, I have worked closely with the designers and
engineers, fne-tuning my skill sets - such as, putting together drawing sets, communicating with
clients, handling unexpected situations ,and adapting to new environments quickly.

Habitat Community
Inspired by the organization Habitat for Hummanity this project was
meant to deal with afordable housing. The projects frst concern was
the site. To truly be afordable we could not set the site on a piece
of premium land, so we chose an odd shaped left over piece of land
in Oceanside, California. Using pre constructed modules and SIPS I
designed a community that could be built for little cost to
accomodatge low income families
Canopy & Bike Rack
This project was a combination of two semesters work. The original
project was an artistic bike rack which was built from ten pieces of 10ft
longsteel tubing. It is installed on Woodbury Universitys Barrio Logan
Campus. Students and faculty ride bicycles and before the bike rack
there was no place to lock up the bikes, so peoplehad them laying
around the interior of the school. The campus had an open space in
the back of the school where the wood-shop was located. The problem
was that this was the southern facade so it was always very hot and
sunny. These conditions led to the perfect placement of both projects.
Vertical Farm
Using conventional methods to keep up with the needs of an ever
expanding population would take up more land than we have to ofer
anddevastate the water resources that we are dependent on. Using a
Vertical Farming (V.F.) method instead is a way to relive the stress on
ourland and other natural resources. You can farm four vertical acres to
every one acre of conventional methods. The city Chihuahua is a very
horizontal city, and if they can get used to the idea of farming vertically
then the jump to living vertically will follow naturally

Storefront Sign
I was asked to design and construct a store sign for our new showroom
located on the frst foor of the Q building in Little Italy, San Diego.
Located in a contemporary post and slab mixed use building,
Sign needed to draw attention to the store while complimenting the
openness of the showroom.
The material is a white, thin, semi opaque plastic.
At night under-lightingilluminates the letters and accentuate the sign.
IQ Haus

Included contemporary Italian kitchen design, recessed lighting and

Dribben House

Gatto Residence
This 4,200 sf. custom home was the most luxurious project I have ever worked on. Aside
from the cantilevered hot tub at the end the pool which stretched the length of the
property, this home featured only the best quality materials and newest technologies.
Self adjusting Leutron blinds and heated concrete foors fed from a thermal well keep
the interior at just the right temperature.

Riford Center
The Riford Center is a senior citizen community center in La Jolla district of San Diego.
A place where retired business men and women can take classes, create art, play cards,
hold events,read, socialize, and network.
The building was built in the 1940s, as it stood the building was not very impressive
and had little to no street presence. Marengo Morton Architects were hired to do a front
facade remodel, and to upgrade the interior to current ADA standards.
