Q13. What type of book is QURAN? A13. Quran is KALAM ULLAH.

Its style is far different from the books written by human beings. It consists of 114 chapters, the names of which are just identifiers and not the title of the subject matter. With few exceptions most of its chapters contain many subjects and in most of the cases even a single AYAT addresses more than one subjects. Through human efforts it is impossible to reproduce its one chapter and according to a scholar some of its verses have no match in human literature.

(2;23-24) It is book of HADAIT and not a book of history, geography, philosophy, future forecasting, science, astronomy and biology (although it reflects a variety of subjects).

(2;1-2) It is very difficult to master its wisdom (HIKMAT) but very easy to take guidance from it.

Its most of the verses are very clear (MUHKAM AYAT) and our success is linked with these verses only. The rest of the verses are not clear in the meaning (MUTASHABIHAT) and anyone who is after these verses is bound to be misled.

(54;17) Q14. Why did I opt for being a conscious Muslim after being born in a Muslim family? A14. An AYAT of SURA YOUNUS has made me a Muslim by choice in addition to being a Muslim by birth.

(10;16) Till the age of 40 MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him) was SADIQ and AMIN but not literate. He may be naturally gifted with an aptitude of a couple of subjects but an illiterate person can not speak about the things which have been discovered after a struggle of more than 1000 years of scientific research- which forces me to believe that everything described in Quran is true (the proof of some realities mentioned in Quran is beyond the scope of scientific investigations and further progress in scientific knowledge is required for proving some of the realities). He can present a novel book like Quran only through divine guidance; hence MUHAMMAD is proven to be a noble prophet of ALLAH. MUHAMMAD is the only person of human history about him some information has been documented about the first 40 years of his life but almost every significant moment of his last 23 years of life has been preserved in the unique literature of HADITH collections, while the Holy Quran also throws light on the significant events of his life. After knowing all this about MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him) only a real stupid and ill-fated person can deny to be his follower as Muslim. It is the personality of MUHAMMAD which forces me to be a Muslim. Q15. What is the importance of Hadith in Islam? A15. Quran is WAHIH MATLOOT while HADITH is WAHI GHAIR MATLOOT. Some verses of Quran provide explanation for other verses. But there are many verses which can not be explained without HADITH. You need to study HADITH for knowing the SHAN-INAZOOL (background) of Quranic verses.

(53;3-4) Q16. What is BIRR? A16. The Quranic meaning is expressed through following verse.

(2;177) Q17. What is AMR BIL MAAROOF & NAHI ANIL MUNKAR? A17. It involves efforts of various levels, depending upon the situation & potentials, for promoting/spreading HAQ and counteracting/resisting the spreading of BATIL. It is a prophetic duty and as final prophet has already come now it is the duty of his UMMAT to do this noble job.

(3;104) Q18. What is SABR & SHUKR? A18. These are the desired attitudes of life of a true Muslim in hard (difficult/unpleasant) and comfortable (relaxed/pleasant) moments of his/her life. Every body must pass through testing processes and a SABIR is bound to succeed. SHUKR pleases ALLAH ALMIGHTY and it results in the receipt of even more blessings from HIM.

(2;153) Q19. What is ZIKR? A19. Normally ZIKR involves repeatedly saying (for a fixed number of times or even without involving any counting) some KALIMAT HUSNA (names of ALLAH, KALIMAH TAYYEBA, AYAT-I-QURAN, QURANIC DUAS, MASNOON DUAS/AZKAR, DAROOD SHARIF). It may be with a reasonably loud voice or silently and sometimes it involves the activity of heart (QALB) only and not the tongue. It is meant for being involved in most of the times in an activity which is highly rewarding from religious perspective. It is essential for uplifting someone spiritually and provides immense peace of mind.

(2;152) Q20. What is INFAQ FI SABI LILLAH? A20. ZaKAT is mandatory IBADAT related to the sacrifice of wealth while generally INFAQ FI SABI LILLAH is believed to be a NAFAL IBADAT. ALLAH treats INFAQ FI SABILILLAH as QARZ-I-HASNA for HIM and he pays back many folds.

ISLAM expects from us to be ever ready for the sacrifice of the God-given wealth, whenever the situation arises. It is very helpful in uplifting ourselves spiritually. Quran has repeatedly urged for it.

(2;245) Q21. What is AITIKAF? A21. It is restricting oneself to the boundary of a mosque and concentrating over IBADAT for the last 10 days of Ramzan and during these days restraining from talking to/ mixing with other people is desired.

Sura no.97 Q22. What is UMRAH? A22. It is mini HAJ and may be performed as a NAFAL IBADAT all round the year through visiting the Holy city of MAKKAH.

Q26. What is TAUBA & ISTAGHFAR?

A26. To err is human. Normal humans (except the prophets who are especially protected by ALLAH from committing sins of all kinds) are likely to commit sins through the urge of their inner self (NAFS) or upon the misguidance of SHAITAN and his followers. True human nature demands not insisting over sins (violation of the instructions of Sharia-as mentioned in Quran & Hadith), it arises the feelings of repent on the commitment of sins and urges for seeking forgiveness from ALLAH. On the other hand the satanic nature urges one to coin arguments for defending the sins. TAUBA is not saying few words casually. It means seeking forgiveness from ALLAH while regretting the involvement in sins and be determined for exerting all possible conscious efforts, within human limits, for not again committing the act of disobedience of ALLAH. True TAUBA clears us from the punishment of all sins and it saves us from being disappointed. TAUBA is accepted by ALLAH before the approach of final moments of the death of a person. We must make a habit of seeking ISTAGHFAR repeatedly & regularly (preferably more than once a day) for avoiding the possibility of being punished for committing of the sins of various levels knowingly and unknowingly.

(39;53-54) Q27. What is TAGHOUT? A27. Any individual or a group of individuals (including the corrupted self of a person as well) who resist the rule of ALLAH over the individual as well as the collective life systems is TAGHOUT. Islam demands opposing all forms of TAGHOUT in favor of ALLAH.

(2; 257) Q28. Who are included in the group of those rewarded by ALLAH? A28. Prophets, Sidduques, Martyrs and Saliheen (the pious).

(4;69) Q29. What are the main functions of a Prophet? A29. Tilwat-i-Ayat, Teaching of the Book & Wisdom (Hikmat) and Tazkia.

(3;164)

Q30. What isTazkia and its importance? A30. Tazkia is the purification of inner self and is directed towards seeking the RAZA-I-ELAHI. The first step for attaining Tazkia is abiding by all the instructions of Sharia. AKHLAS-I-NIYYAT helps us a lot for the purification of inner self and uplifting us spiritually. Keeping oneself busy in ZIKR keeps on reminding one of being answerable to ALLAH and thus is very instrumental in attaining TAZKIA. Those persons who have mastered the art of Tazkia are generally known as AHL-ITARIQAT/TASAWAF. With the purpose of spiritual uplift of their followers TAZKIA experts diagnose the BATINI diseases like TAKABBAR, UJAB etc. and try to remove them because these diseases destroy the credit associated with the good deeds. It has been practically learnt by TAZKIA experts that various types of ZIKR have a variety of beneficial effects on the spiritual uplifting of their followers. As long as there is no violation of Sharia instructions (particularly the fundamental beliefs are not disturbed) there is no harm in benefiting from the established schools of thoughts of TAZKIA. While the end result is desirable, the slight variation in the styles of various schools of thoughts of TAZKIA people is not objectionable at all (as it seems natural on account of the empirical approach of the practitioner). Q31. Briefly introduce AQSAM-ul-QURAN. A31. The Holy Quran is the KALAM of ALLAH (and not his MAKHLOOQ). In the Holy Quran we see AQSAM (plural of QASM) related to MAKHLOOQ. One may be interested in knowing the worth of these AQSAM. Wherever we observe AQSAM in some verses of QURAN the purpose of these AQSAM becomes clear if look at the AYAT which immediately follow AYAT of AQSAM. The AYAT of AQSAM provide evidence for the realities described in the following AYAT.

(93;1-3)

Q32. What is the main advantage of being MUSLIM? A32. All but 02 (humans &jinns) kinds of MAKHLOOQ are 100% MUSLIMS (operate as per directives of ALLAH). Even the biological systems operating within ourselves are MUSLIMS (for being beyond our control). Humans &Jinns have some freedom of choice. Those who surrender their choice in favor of the will of ALLAH are 100% MUSLIMS and are therefore in harmony with the entire universe. Those who exercise their freedom of choice in confrontation with the directives of ALLAH belong to the second group of humans &jinns and their collective identity is being KUFFAR. All KUFFAR are logical allies of one another, while MUSLIMS should treat them as potential enemies. The KUFFAR are not living their lives in harmony with the rest of the universe (even

confronting their own biological systems) and are therefore responsible for FASAD FIL ARZ (global chaos). Q33. How can we dominate? A33. The Quranic reply is
