How feminists exposit Scripture (hermeneutics - getting “the interpreter-
expositor out of the way so that the unhindered text and the listening
community can face each other!”) Do the stories of Hannah and Ruth show
“both the Almighty and the male establishment a more excellent way”? God
is absent as the author of Scripture in feminist writings as women are absent
in traditionalist writings (except to argue over their role in church and
family life!)
What about Wisdom in the Bible? Female imagery? Issues of
congregational life, apologetics, use of money? What other issues?
