The SRC Exam Preparation Service provides you with the hands-on equipment access you need to build your skills and prepare yourself for the Alcatel-Lucent NRS II and SRA lab exams. It can also help prepare you for taking SRC written exams and practicing your service routing configuration skills.

lAB eQuiPment configurAtion

The SRC Exam Preparation Service (SRC ExamPrep) is designed for the many IP professionals who do not have access to the equipment and tools they need to help them prepare for obtaining their Alcatel-Lucent Network Routing Specialist II (NRS II) and Service Routing Architect (SRA) certifications. Both certifications require successful completion of an intensive, hands-on practical lab exam: The Alcatel-Lucent NRS II lab exam (exam # NRSII4A0) half day in duration The Alcatel-Lucent SRA practical lab exam (exam # ASRA4A0) full day in duration The SRC ExamPrep service is quality-designed and managed exclusively by Alcatel-Lucent and provides participants with everything they need to prepare for their SRC exam, or for practicing and advancing their service router configuration skills in a real lab environment. The service provides the following: Dedicated, remote access to an Alcatel-Lucent service router lab Access to a suite of detailed lab practice scenarios along with their optimal solutions Access to traffic simulation and analysis tools

NRS II exam exercises include:

Scheduling equipment access times is flexible and easy. Equipment is available 24/7 and participants simply need to visit the SRC ExamPrep website to schedule their lab access time. Lab sessions are based on 3-hour time slots, and multiple time slots can be scheduled for your convenience. Technical support for equipment access is currently available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
PrActice ScenArioS

In addition to lab equipment access, participants can also access recommended router and service configuration practice exercises (scenarios) that will help them practice and prepare for the NRS II and/or SRA exams. Exercises are based on Alcatel-Lucent 7750 service routers running SR-OS (minimum Release 6.1). Optimal solutions are included with each practice scenario and a participants router configurations can be saved and restored for use with future lab sessions. Practice scenarios can be purchased separately or in conjunction with lab sessions.
