Dear Friend, Greetings from everyone at the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church. Jesus told us, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). No matter what the child of God goes through, there is a blessed assurance that we will overcome everything that comes our way. He never said tribulation and trials wouldnt come, but He did say He overcame everything for us! As we put our trust in Jesus great peace comes to our hearts and we know that nothing is impossible for them that believe! As I was reading my Bible the other day, a verse of Scripture stood out to me. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee (Isaiah 41:13). This verse, along with many others, has been an anchor for my soul throughout the years. We are going somewhere and there are dangers and fearful things along the way, but there is an assurance that comes to my heart when I open my Bible and read that the Lord Himself will hold my right hand! Were on a journey that will take us to heaven one day and knowing He is holding my right hand as I make decisions and choices that will affect my life and those around me gives me an indescribable peace. I have also found that all things actually do work together for good! Not everything is good, but everything works together for good. Sometimes the Lord gives us a verse of Scripture for a reason. When I read the verse in Isaiah, it wasnt just a nice verse to read. There was a reason behind it. If I didnt know the Lord would hold my hand in certain situations I may have stumbled and fell. But because He made Himself known to me through the Bible, I understand that every trial or problem does not have to defeat me. Through my struggles I learned His hand and His grace were sufficient for me! He helped me and though I may not be perfect I know I shall see my Savior face to face some day! Neither you nor I can claim that we deserve to go to heaven. It is only by His marvelous grace that we can enter into the gates of that city! But Jesus Christ has made a way for us to enter in. He took the punishment for our sins. He justified us freely when He died on the cross. Lets face it: we are not angels, no matter how many people weve convinced! The fact is we are all sinners in need of a Savior, and Jesus Christ is that Savior. He took our place so we could one day make heaven our home. All we have to do is admit to Him (and ourselves) we are sinners, call upon His name to save us and forgive us, and receive Him into our hearts. It seems so simple, but it is! We are the ones that make it hard for the Lord to move in our lives. He will never go beyond our will. But if you will let Him

have His way in your life you, too, can become a Christian and receive that assurance of eternal life. Remember, the Bible tells us that God loves us. He doesnt hate us or have it in for us. He takes no pleasure when we struggle and fear and are sick. Thats not God. Those are the characteristics of our adversary, the devil. He is a thief who came to steal, kill, and destroy us. But Jesus said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Turn your attention to the Lord Jesus Christ today. The Scripture says, For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. I believe He will help everyone who will receive His Word and put their complete trust in Him! Let Him take you by the hand and lead you to where you need to go. Fear not: He will help you!
