Feb-06 – Present As Sr. R&D Engineer with Mirafra Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

System Verilog Synthesis under Hardware Root

• Presently working on synthesis of System Verilog constructs present under hardware
(using Concorde) in a given design and plugging back the corresponding V2K code into the
flow.
• Extensive use of Cheetah and Concorde tools.

Filters Development
• As part of the AutoHardwareRoot project for Hardware Assisted Accelerator, I designed
and developed strength and x/z sensitivity detection Filters for moving out parts of design
which could not be synthesized on Hardware.
• Worked extensively on memory and time optimizations along with unit testing.
• Currently, using the Fanin/Fanout model developed earlier for marking Nets/Regs with
clock behavior across the design in an application product.

VarTraversal Project
• Designed and developed an application for finding the loads and drivers of nets across a
given Verilog design.

Automatic Test-bench Generator

• Conceptualized and designed it for testing the SVA (System Verilog Assertion) support
which was being provided to the client.
• Helped uncover some major bugs in implementation to ensure good quality product.

Expression Evaluator using BED

• As first project at Mirafra, I developed an expression evaluator using the BED (Boolean
Expression Diagram) for supporting all the V2K expression evaluators.
• Did the in-house testing for this application.

May-June 2004 As an Intern at Bitmapper Integration Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Pune

• Embedded Development Kit (EDK) testing and program implementation.
• Filter implementation on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Xilinx FPGA Kit.
• Filter development for Infra Red Camera for use of Indian Army
 • Image processing and compression and Cryptic coding in images using Wavelets.

Project Work
Dec 04 – May 05 B.Tech. Project Thesis
• Proposed an oscillatory Neural Network model that could be trained to learn any
walking rhythm.
• The Neural Network was superimposed on a simulated Robot
• Through extensive testing and experimentation, achieved desired results.

Nov 03- Jan 04 Micromouse (IEEE Problem), led IIT Madras at IIT Bombay’s Techfest’04
• Designed an autonomous robot that can find the center of maze.
• Developed the sensors and circuit for programmed automation.
• Came up with an algorithm for effective traversal through maze.

• Selected in IIT JEE 2001 with All India Rank of 414 (top 0.2%)
