Jehovah's Witnesses

-is a millenarian restorationist Christian denomination with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity. -They believe that the destruction of the present world system at Armageddon is imminent, and that the establishment of God's kingdom on earth is the only solution for all problems faced by humankind. Similarities -Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs are based on their interpretations of the Bible, with a preference for their own translation, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures just like the Roman Catholic ; Differences -They reject Trinitarianism; -They do not observe Christmas, Easter, birthday, or other holidays and customs they consider to be pagan; -Jehovah's Witnesses are best known for their door-todoor preaching, distributing literature such as The Watchtower and Awake!; -They refused to salute national flags .

Members Church of God International

-The Members Church of God International is an independent Christian organization with headquarters in the Philippines. The Church of God International is colloquially known through its flagship international television program, Ang Dating Daan (English translation: The Old Path). The church originally rooted from a similar denomination, the "Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi't Suhay ng Katotohanan" which was founded by Nicolas Perez in 1936. The church has Restorationist characteristics in theme but denies being part of the Restoration Movement.
Simiarities -The Members of the Church of God International believe that all teachings and interpretation of doctrines should be based upon the 66 books of the Bible alone Differences -The church has a Nontrinitarianism orientation meaning that they have reject the doctrine of the Trinity -They reject the traditional Christian doctrine of the Trinity, as well as the doctrines of Oneness, Original Sin, eternal security, personal relationship with Christ, tithing, first-day Sabbatarianism, Christmas Day (along with other Christian holidays) among others.

Seventh-day Adventist Church

-The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Protestant Christian denomination distinguished by its observance of Saturday, the original seventh day of the Judeo-Christian week, as the Sabbath, and by its emphasis on the imminent second coming (Advent) of Jesus Christ. -Much of the theology of the Seventh-day Adventist Church corresponds to Protestant Christian teachings such as the Trinity and the infallibility of Scripture. Distinctive teachings include the unconscious state of the dead and the doctrine of an investigative judgment. The church is also known for its emphasis on diet and health, its holistic understanding of the person, its promotion of religious liberty, and its conservative principles and lifestyle. Similarities Differences

Iglesia ni Cristo

-Iglesia ni Cristo (Tagalog for Church of Christ) also known as INC, is the largest entirely indigenous Christian religious organization that originated from the Philippines and the largest independent church in Asia. -Felix Y. Manalo officially registered the church with the Philippine Government on July 27, 1914 and because of this, most publications refer to him as the founder of the church.

Similarities
-Like the Jehovahs Witnesses, Iglesia claims that Jesus Christ is not God but a created being;

Differences
-The church conducts regular worship services, one during the week,and one during the weekend unlike in other religions they have only one day for worshipping;

United Pentecostal Church International

-The United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) is a Pentecostal Christian denomination, headquartered in the St. Louis suburb of Hazelwood, Missouri.It is a part of the Oneness or "Apostolic" portion of the Pentecostal Movement, and was formed in 1945 by a merger of the former Pentecostal Church, Incorporated and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ. The denomination also puts an emphasis upon Holiness living in all aspects of one's life. Similarities -There is an indispensable baptism same with the Roman Catholic there is also a need for baptism ; Differences -The UPCI adheres to a "Oneness" concept of the Godhead, in contrast to traditional Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Protestant understandings;

JESUS MIRACLE CRUSADE

-The Jesus Miracle Crusade International Ministry (acronym as JMCIM) is an Apostolic Pentecostal religious group from the Philippines which believes particularly in the promotion of miracles and faith in God for healing. JMCIM is founded by Evangelist Wilde E. Almeda in February 14, 1975. -The JMCIM Apostolic doctrine believes in three manifestations in one GOD: as God the Father in creation, as Son of God in redemption, as Spirit of God or Holy Ghost in regeneration. -The church also follows the Pentecostal worship practices of spending many hours in worship and singing praises to God. Similarities Differences

Baptists

-Baptists are Christians who comprise a group of denominations and churches that subscribe to a doctrine that baptism should be performed only for professing believers (believer's baptism, as opposed to infant baptism), and that it must be done by immersion (as opposed to affusion or sprinkling). Other tenets of Baptist churches include soul competency (liberty), salvation through faith alone, scripture alone as the rule of faith and practice, and the autonomy of the local congregation. -Baptists recognize two ministerial offices, pastors and deacons. Baptist churches are widely considered to be Protestant churches, though some Baptists disavow this identity. Similarities - Baptists practice believer's were baptism and the Lords baptism and the Lord's Supper (communion) as the two acts of faith-obedience to the example and commands given by Christ for Christians; Differences - They differ from the other ordinances of God in that they specially instituted by Christ;

Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines

-The Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines is part of the worldwide Catholic Church, in full communion with the Pope. -It is the predominant religion, making the Philippines the third largest "Catholic" nation in the world after Brazil and Mexico, as well as one of the two predominantly Catholic countries in Asia, the other being East Timor. The Archbishop of Manila is the Primate of the Philippines.
-The Philippines has shown a strong devotion to Mary, evidenced

by her patronage of various towns and locales nationwide. Particularly, there are pilgrimage sites where each town has created their own versions of Mary. Similarities - Both Catholics and Baptists traditionally have Sunday schools to teach children. - Baptists and Catholics share a belief in the historic Christian doctrine of the Trinity, which says that God is three in one and one in three: Father, Differences -Roman Catholic adheres to the pope as the vicar of Christ; -Christianity is built on the Holy Scriptures unlike in Roman catholic ,the Bible is our only infallible ruleof Son and Holy Spirit. faith

Protestantism

-Protestantism is one of the three major groupings (Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and Protestantism) within Christianity. -It is a movement that began in Germany in the early 16th century as a reaction against medieval Roman Catholic doctrines and practices, especially in regards to salvation, justification, and ecclesiology. -The doctrines of the various Protestant denominations vary, but most include justification by grace through faith alone, known as Sola Fide, the priesthood of all believers, and the Bible as the ultimate authority in matters of faith and order, known as Sola Scriptura, which is Latin for 'by scripture alone'. Similarities Differences

-The Bible is the ultimate authority -Protestant churches in matters of faith and order known generally reject the Catholic as as Sola Fide; and Orthodox doctrines of apostolic succession and the sacramental ministry of the clergy; -Protestant ministers and church leaders have somewhat different roles and authority in priests and bishops;

Philippine Independent Church

-The Philippine Independent Catholic Church, in Spanish: Iglesia Filipina Independiente or the IFI or in Ilocano: Siwawayawaya nga Simbaan ti Filipinas (in Tagalog: Malayang Simbahan ng Pilipinas in Kinaray-a/Hiligaynon: Simbahan Hilway nga Pilipinhon, is a Christian denomination of the Catholic tradition in the form of a national church. -Its separation from the Roman Catholic Church was proclaimed by the members of the first federation of labor unions in the country, the Union Obrera Democratica (UOD) in 1902. Isabelo de los Reyes was one of the initiators of the separation of the church and suggested that Gregorio Aglipay be the head of the church. It is also known as the Aglipayan Church, after its first Obispo Maximo, Gregorio Aglipay. Similarities -They believe in the trinity doctrine, faith through good works, the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds , Sacraments Baptism and Holy Communion commonly called the Mass, original sin and The Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of the Body and Blood Differences -They allow marriage among priests; -They rejected the spiritual authority of the Pope;
