You are guilty 'of murder if you can save a man's life and refuse to do so ; if you know a bridge is washed out; if you see a passenger train; if you can wave a red flag and stop that train, but refuse to do so, you are guilty of murder. You are the cause of the trainload of people going down in death to the bottom of that river. When we know what is in the near future, we must let the people know. If we fail to warn them, their blood will be required at our hand. PLAGUES ON THE EARTH Seven angels will soon pour out seven plagues of judgment upon this earth. Look at the seven angels. They are now ready to pour out these plagues on the peoples of the earth. These plagues are known as the third woe, the seventh trumpet, the wrath of God, the hour of His judgment, the wine of the wrath of God, the seven last plagues and the vials of God's wrath, (Rev. 11:14,15,18; Rev. 14:7-19; Rev. 15:1) . SMOKE IN THE TEMPLE "And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled," (Rev. 15 :8). The lVIan, Christ Jesus, is now in the presence of God for us, making intercession (Reb. 7 :25). At the hour of judgment, there will be no intercession; no one may enter into the temple. The hour of mercy will be a thing of the past as far as preventing the tribulation from coming upon the earth. We believe that God's mercy will still be extended to people to the extent that they will have a chance to repent. The wrath of God will be poured out at this time worse than the world has ever known. One time Isaiah saw the temple filled with smoke.' The hour of judgment had come for Israel, (Isa. 6: 1-4) . 1

"And he said, Go, and tell this people, hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, "Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate," (Isa. 6 :9-11). The saints will judge the world. We will judge men and angels, (I Cor. 6 :2-5). An angel is a messenger. John saw an angel flying over heaven with the everlasting gospel just before the Lord's return. I thought of that as I was going to Africa on a jet. We were about seven miles high, going nearly seven hundred miles an hour; just outside the glass it was seventy degrees below zero in one spot. The leaders of the seven churches of Asia were called seven angels. He makes His' angels ministering spirits. God uses bloodwashed people to carry the message. He could have used celestial beings, but He chose to use me and you. The two witnesses will bring plagues on the' earth by the gift of miracles. They will turn water to blood. They will bring fire down from heaven. They will do signs and wonders. They will do this by God's power, (Rev. 11 :3-5). Moses did the same thing as he stretched out his rod and the plagues came upon Egypt. Elijah called fire down from heaven in his ministry. He held back the rain for three and a half years. THE FIRST VIAL After we have received a changed body, we will be used to judge angels. "And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image," (Rev. 16 :2). The Bible says a grievous sore will break out upon men in the last days when the plagues are poured out. When it says grievous sores,

I believe it means just that. Let's keep it simple. The word, revelation, shows it has been revealed. Moses and Aaron threw ashes into the air and a boil broke out upon men and beasts, (Exod. 9 :9). There is no healing for these plagues, (Deut._ 28 :35). Their boils will remain there, (Rev. 16:11). The people will be tormented for months, (Rev. 9 :5). The magicians could not face the plagues during the ministry of Moses, (Exod. 9 :11). Doctors, nurses, hospitals and medicine will not help you in the day that these plagues fall upon the earth. Physicians and" nurses will be crying out for mercy because of their own cancerous sores. Today men smoke the cigarettes that are reported to cause cancer.. They defy God, but they will cry out when these sores take hold of their body but the sores will remain there, (Rev. 6:15-17; Prov.-l:28). "Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me." The people who take the mark of the beast will suffer untold misery upon this earth; then they will die and be lost forever in torment. They will never be forgiven. "The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed," (Deut. 28 :27). THE SECOND VIAL "And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea," (Rev. 16 :3). The second trumpet judgment affected only one-third of the sea. This second vial brings down greater judgment than ever. It is a greater degree of judgment. The second vial turns all the sea into blood, turns all the water into blood, and destroys all life in the sea. We believe this affects all the seven seas in the world. All harbors of the world will be filled with dead flesh, fish and reptiles. The sea will be cleansed of all the deadly man-eating

sharks, be cleansed from all the dangers that attack mankind. The land shall be utterly spoiled, (Isa. 34: 1-6) . These plagues will be literal. It will cover all the earth, including your nation. This plague is similar to the plagues that took place in the land of Egypt. "And Moses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of E-gypt," (Exod. 7 :20-21). THE THIRD VIAL "And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments," (Rev. 16 :4-7). In the judgment of the third trumpet, the judgment was on the rivers, but the third vial judgment covers a wider scope. The angel is in charge of the waters of all the earth. This will affect all the waters and life of all the cities. This will affect your city. Now is the time for man to flee from the wrath to come. Now is the time for man to run to the refuge. Christ is our refuge. The breaking of judgment is just ahead for the whole world, including your city, your home and your nation. The angel that is in charge of the waters justifies God in these judgments. The -men that worship the beast; the men that take delight in shedding the blood of prophets and saints, now are given blood to drink.

They rejected the water of life; now they have blood for water. The guardian of the altar in heaven cries out that God is true and righteous in these awful judgments. The altar was a place of mercy and intercession, but now the altar is a witness against these people who ha ve taken the mark of the beast. They turn their face to God, but they have no answer, because they have refused in the past to seek God's face. THE FOURTH VIAL "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory," (Rev. 16:8-9). This vial affects the light of the sun. Men have enjoyed the sunshine for years. They never stop to give God the praise for the sun that gave natural light to man, beast and plant. Now this blessing is taken away. God is not obligated to keep blessing people when they use their strength to build the devil's kingdom. His glory He will not give to another. The heat of the sun is increased sevenfold. Men suffer untold agony. Light is cut off. The kingdoms of the world become darkness. The kingdom of the world ruler is filled with darkness. Light flees away. Everywhere that man turns, he meets darkness, darkness, darkness. The sun was one-third dark under the fourth trumpet, but under the fourth vial the darkness is increased. It is gross darkness. The Lord is letting these things take place gradually, trying to get men to repent, who have not yet taken the mark of the beast. In His mercy, He does this to wake people and cause them to turn and repent. God saw that everything was good that He created in the beginning, (Gen. 1 :18). Nature was perfectly balanced. The climate and seasons were perfectly tempered. As man fell, a curse came upon God's crea-

tion. Hurricanes, cyclones and storms show that the seasons are out of balance. The foundations of the earth are out of course, (Ps.82:5). The sun will be seven times hotter than its natural strength. The sun will scorch men with fire. "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound," (lsa. 3D:26). Why is all this taking place? The Lord must wake men out of their sleep. He wants them to repent. Anything is better than their being lost forever. I went into a burning house one time. They told me a lady was upstairs. She was trapped. Anything would be better than letting this lady be destroyed and burned with fire. Soon a ladder was up on the side of the house. The window was torn off. We were determined to save the woman if we tore up the house and injured her. Anything is better than letting people burn in hell. The plagues are not as bad as hell. So God, in His mercy, is trying to get men to repent. "The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and , fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Thereforth hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left, (Isaiah 24: 4-6) . Men have been warned of these awful days that are coming. They have had time to repent, but they have refused. God wants man to repent before all these trouble's come their way. "For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch," (Mal. 4 :1). 6

Still men harden their hearts and refuse to repent of their evil deeds. This only brings on them more judgment. We don't read that all the people refused to repent, but we do read that some people would not repent. Even when men are being scorched with fire, many of them rebell, harden their heart and refuse to repent of their evil deeds, (Rev. 16 :9). What is man that he should be so rebellious? It seems that he does not understand himself. After God gives him his breath, his strength, his food, and his raiment; after God gives him the right exercise of mind; after God gives him his job, his home and his children; after He breathes the pure air; after he receives divine strength; then he still rebells against God. He defies his Maker. The men that sell themselves to Satan become the property of the devil. THE FIFTH VIAL "And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds," (Rev. 16 :10-11). This vial also affects the sun. The heat of the sun grows more intense. Men are scorched with fire. Why is this? Even this is better than hell. The Lord in His mercy is throwing out a blockade to keep men out of hell, to keep men from taking the mark of the beast and being doomed forever. This plague is closely related to the plague that came upon the Egyptians after they oppressed the people of God. "And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may. be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings," (Exod. 10 :21-23).

Joel looked down through the telescope of time and saw the terrible day of the Lord. He warned mankind to get right with God. Many people refuse to heed this warning. God is warning you every day through preachers, through His word, and through the Holy Spirit. Still many people rebel, harden their hearts and become as natural brute beasts. "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call," (Joel 2 :31-32). There is no letting up of the terrible plagues. Still men refuse to repent. Things become worse. The sickle is put in to reap the harvest of the earth. Still man, in his rebellious state runs and defies God. They blaspheme the God that created them and gave them their breath their life and their strength. "And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire' and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress .of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs," (Rev. 14:17-20). "Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there, will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come get you down; for the press is full the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the

day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining," (Joel 3 :12-15). Isaiah also saw the future and told us of the awful j udgrnent to come. He warned men to flee from the wrath to come. By two or three witnesses let every word be established. All the prophets spoke of the day of the judgment and said the wrath of God would fall upon the inhabitants of the earth. Men have trampled the mercies of God under their feet. "Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at, hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows ,shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and 'fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine," (Isa. 13 :6-10). After all this, men will yet refuse to repent. God is trying to get them to repent, but like Pharaoh, they harden their heart. Like Pharaoh, they go down in defeat. The judgments of God fall upon them. They are consigned to the judgment and wrath of the Almighty God whom they have blasphemed and defied. No doubt, there will be a few people who repent and turn to God. But men who follow on in sin will become more hardened. If they won't change now, why would they change' then when the powers of hell are stronger? Two hundred million demons are cast down to this sin-cursed earth. They are roaming the world over, possessing people who are not right with their Maker. The power of Satan will become stronger in these people as judgment becomes more intense day by day. 9

Men who go to hell receive hell before they get there. You will never get to hell unless you get so~e hell in you first. Men who go to heaven get some heaven in them before they get there. You will never get to heaven until you get some heaven in you. Men have rebelled against God as did Satan. If Satan would not serve God; if Satan was cast out of heaven because he rebelled against God, I am sure God wouldn't let a finite man go to heaven rebelling against Him. God wouldn't let Satan stay in heaven when he was full of rebellion. I am sure He would not let us go to heaven with rebellion in our heart. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry, (I Sam. 15 :23). The people who worship idols and the people who practice witchcraft will certainly be shut out of heaven and so will the rebellious, stubborn professers today. God hates rebellion. In the tribulation days men will rebel until the very spirit of perdition settles upon their souls. They soon reach the place of no return. There is no more remedy. THE SIXTH VIAL "And the-sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon," (Rev. 16: 12-16). Read about the sixth trumpet in chapters eight and nine. It seems that the River Euphrates represents the land of Babylon. The harlot woman mentioned in Reve-

lation 17, comes from that land. The abominations of the earth are found there in that land. That is where the world church had her headquarters. That is the mother of harlots. Every church that does not believe in the supernatural power of God is counted a harlot in God's book, and the mother of all these denominations sits upon seven hills in that great city of Rome. Spiritually it is called Babylon. This land divides the East and the West. We read in Revelation 9, that there were four angels bound in Euphrates. Up until now, the war of nations has been in either the East or the West. These wars have not been fought in Babylon. Babylon is the barrier between these two great sides, the East and the West. The river of Euphrates can hardly be crossed at any point. It is eighteen hundred miles long, up to thirty feet deep, and as much as a mile wide. This river has been a boundary line between the East and the West. This is where the possession of Israel stopped, (Gen. 15:18). When the sixth trumpet sounded, the river was affected greatly. When the sixth plague is poured out, the waters of this river are dried up. This permits the kings of the East to come over to the West and this is when the great battle begins. The climate conditions will be greatly disturbed. The earth will be out of course more than ever before. Nature will rebel. There will be men who will have power to shut up heaven, that there will be no rain, Elijah did this very same thing, (James 5; Rev. 11 :6). Should this take place again, this river could go dry. The seven streams that furnish the water for this river will dry up, letting man pass over, without getting his feet wet. "And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the 11

seven streams, and make men go over dryshod," (Isa. 11:15). , We believe this plague will do more than just dry up the river. The water drying up would not affect a modern army too much. We have modern equipment that could transport any army across this river without too much trouble. We believe this could well mean that all obstacles and hindrances to the ever-increasing Chinese army will be removed in that day. The men of this army will pour across this barrier like flies. China is a sleeping giant. When she awakes, the world will be sorry. As has been said, should the Chinese soldiers march four abreast, without stopping, they would never get across this river. They are born faster than that . There will be three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the beast and the dragon and the false prophet. These are the spirits of devils working miracles. The drying up of the Euphrates River will not be enough to cause the power of the East to come over this great river. There is a strong force of evil spirits behind these armies. The devil's trinity will be in full force in that day. This is Satan's final push for world , power. Satan, in his struggle to win the battle of Armageddon, no doubt will send his spirits and furnish supernatural power and new inventions that will take men's lives instantly. "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of tlt mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the ki gs of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty," \ (Rev. 16: 13-14). These spirits go out into all the world. They go both to the East and to the West. They vex men against one another, and entice them to go into the most dreadful battle ever known. This' will be the last battle. It will

be a supernatural battle a battle against Christ and His people. These evil spirits that go out into all the world will brain-wash people into believing a lie. They will believe a lie and be damned. These spirits will lie to them and cause them to go blindly into this great battle of Armageddon. These spirits will confuse men. These spirits will control their thinking; they will be led into a path of ruin and destruction . About 400 false prophets told King Ahab to go up to battle. They predicted that he would win this battle , but afterwards it was found a lying spirit had been sent to do this. A lying spirit told these false prophets it was all right for King Ahab to go up to battle. They told him that he would win the battle, but death was his portion; a shameful death. He met his defeat. He went .down .in/ruin. A lying spirit will come into the mouth 'of all the prophets of the antichrist church in the last days. They will preach for men to line up with / the world government. They will preach for men to line up with the world church; but this lying spirit will cause them to rush headlong into the battle of the ages. This lying spirit will predict that they will win. The antichrist, with his supernatural power and all the armies of the earth, will come against Christ, with His supernatural power and all the armies of heaven. The antichrist and his armies of the earth will be defeated. Men will fall like flies. The fowls of the air shall feast upon their flesh. A lying spirit will bring the armies of the world together in the last time. "And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. And the Lord said unto him. Wherewith? And he said, I will go

forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now there, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee," (l Kings 22: 19 :23) . Micaiah told King Ahab what was going to happen. He told him the truth. He had the true Spirit of God. The Lord has some people today that are telling men the truth. Yet many people will not heed the warning. The ten kings of the earth will be led to destruction. False prophets are predicting their success. When they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction will come, (I Thes. 5 :3). Lying spirits will lead the world government and the world church against God and His people. Will you be on God's side in that day? If you mean to be on God's side in that day, you had better get on God's side today. The Rhineland peasants went in a wild crusade to the Holy Land at one time. A large number of Jews were slaughtered. Crusaders one after another, failed to accomplish their purpose. The children's crusade in 1212 was begun. These people were captured and sold as slaves in Egypt. No doubt, they were inspired by Satan to march to their own doom. While I was on Mt. Zion, we were taken to a place where we saw bones and soap, etc., as the result of the six million Jews that were murdered by Hitler in Germany. We saw the poison gas. I have a moving picture now that shows those teeming thousands of Jews as they were rushed nude into the gas chambers. Then we see the bulldozer that takes them and throws them into a large valley where they are covered. Then we see hundreds of yards of carpet which was made from the women's hair. Millions of Jews were slaughtered. Who can say that Hitler did not give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils which drove him into such a hideous war, into an insane condition, which possessed him with murder and hate! He wouldn't be 14

satisfied until he slaughtered millions, multiplied millions of the Jewish people. Yet that was just a forerunner of the great tribulation ahead. The Bible said there would be tribulation worse than the world has ever known. The seducing spirits will go into all the world to recruit men for this great battle. They will attack people all over the world, instead of just one man like Hitler. There will be millions of people with the same desire and the same drive, possessed with the same spirit that Hitler had. This will spell their doom. They will make their last stand in the valley of Megiddo. Recently we looked over this place where this great battle of the ages will be fought, the future place of slaughter. We don't believe that the world will be divided into two groups. All the armies of the earth will .come against all the armies of heaven, (Rev. 19 :19). The world church and the world government will go into a league for a while, (Rev. 17). Then the world government will turn against the world church and burn her with fire. The ten kingdoms of the world will not stand together with solid power. They will be as iron and clay mixed. "And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave pne to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay," (Dan. 2 :42-43). Russia and China do not agree today. That is a good example of the mixture of iron and clay. The ten toes of Daniel's image will fall apart permanently when the stone which is cut out without hands. comes rolling out of the mountain and crushes down the kingdoms of this world. This shows that the Gentile Supremacy will continue until the revelation of Jesus Christ. Then Jesus Christ, Himself, will come and set up a government where there will be no end:

Armageddon is a spiritual battle a crusade of hell itself. "Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about thither; cause thy mighty ones to come down, 0 Lord," (Joel 3:9-11). Russia has boasted that she will dethrone God. That is what Satan tries to do at the battle of Armageddon. "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall hold them in derision," (Psalms 2 :2-4) . It behooves us to be on God's side. We must fight this battle supernaturally. We must be ready. "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walked naked, and they see his shame," (Rev. 16:15). We must come back from the marriage in the air. We must help put a stop to this great battle of Armageddon between Christ and antichrist. THE SEVENTH VIAL The seventh vial is different from the seventh trumpet. The seventh trumpet fulfilled the mystery of God, (Rev. 10 :7). "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets." The seventh vial fulfills the seventh trumpet and announces the day of God's wrath. "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done," (Rev. 16:17). 1. The atmosphere is disturbed. There are great thunderings and lightenings. 16

2. There is a great earthquake, greater than the world has ever known. This awful earthquake will divide Jerusalem into' three parts. 3. The cities of the nations will fall. Not just one city, but your city too. All the cities of the nations will fall. 4. Great hail falls from heaven. 5. Great Babylon receives the cup of God's wrath. 6. The beast will be dethroned. Satan will be bound. This will be as the battle of Armageddon comes to a climax. Jesus predicted that in the last days there will be earthquakes worse than the world has ever known. That is a sign that we are in the last days. We have thousands of earthquakes now, where we were having dozens a century ago. I stood on one lot in Tokyo, Japan, where an earthquake caused 35 thousand people to be burned to death. People will hear a great and mighty thunder, then the earth will quake, (Isa 29: 6-7) . "For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts," (Haggai 2:6-7). Not Russia, China or Cuba will be shaken only, but all nations will tremble under the plagues. Many preachers preach as if God is an American God only. They teach that the United States will be saved and Cuba will be destroyed. Remember that all the world will be under one ruler in that day. All the world will wonder after the beast, (Rev. 13:1-7). All the world will be destroyed (Rev. 19: 1-20). All the world will be destroyed because they have broken God's commandments, (lsa. 24:1; 18-20). Ever since the flood, the foundation of the earth has been out of place. The seasons have been terribly affected. This has caused tornadoes, floods, droughts

hurricanes and violent winters. The seventh plague reverses Noah's flood and prepares the earth for the perfect age of a thousand years of peace. The earthquake will especially affect Jerusalem. It will divide the city into three parts, (Rev. 16:19). At first, a tenth of the city will fall. Seven thousand people will be killed, (Rev. 11 :13). After men see this, they will not repent, (Rev. 11, 13). Then when all the cities in the world fall, no cities will be spared, (Rev. 19). Read this carefully and you will see that no city will be spared. Your city will not be spared. "That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great," (Rev. 19:18). Some people take some verses out of the Old Testament and try to teach that their part of the world will be spared. That is the height of national pride. That is the height of spiritual ignorance. That is the height of carnality. Every city in the world will fall. When all the nations fall, this will be the end of the age, (Rev. 19:19). Jesus will come from heaven. Not long ago I stood on the very spot where His feet will touch the Mount of Olives. This mountain will cleave in two parts. A great valley will be left. In the center springs of water will gush forth from the earth. Some of them will flow toward the Mediterranean Sea and some toward the Dead Sea, (Zach 14 :4). From here, we will return with Jesus and enjoy the thousand years of peaceful reign. There will be no more wars. Satan will be bound. There will be nothing to hurt and destroy. "And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God," (Zech 13:9).

"And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains'; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee," (Zech. 14 :5). "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints," (Jude 14). This will take place at the end of Armageddon. Every island will flee away. The mountains will not be found (Rev. 6 :20). The earth will return to its beauty and glory as in Adam's day. We have no record of mountains or islands being here before the foundation of the deep was broken up' during the year and seventeen days Noah was in the Ark. The great earthquake is not all. Hail will fall in that day. One piece will weigh about a hundred pounds. What city of the earth can hold up under one-hundred-pound pieces of ice falling from heaven? A plague of hail fell upon Egypt. But it is hardly to be compared with hail that is to fall in the last days. This hail that fell upon Egypt beat down the crops. This hail will fall and beat down cities. There will be' tribulation worse than has ever been known in the history of time. "Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as. hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now. Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, , and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. He that feared the word of the Lord among the servants of Pharaoh. made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses: And he that regarded not the word of the. Lord left his servants and his cattle in the field. And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that

there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt," (Exod. 9 :18 :23). The hail that fell in Egypt broke down every tree. Shelters protected some livestock which was brought in from the field. During the last plague, 'no life can be spared. We have seen some hailstorms here that almost destroyed our buildings in this generation. We , have a record of a bad hailstorm in 1931. Men could .hardly survive under it. In the hailstorms of the future, men will not be spared. r If a hailstone which weighs one pound does so much damage, what will a hailstone weighing one hundred , pounds do? Men will continue to harden their hearts. No doubt some will surrender to Christ, pray and get forgiveness in their dying hour, but the .men who have taken -the mark of the beast will never, never be saved. Men will continue to harden their hearts. Many of them will fail to repent, even in this terrible day. We see God's mercy even in this. He is offering pardon. Some will give their hearts to God even in that day. They will go to heaven by the way of the grave: "And the same hour was there a great earthquake; and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven," (Rev. 11:13). Men are harder to understand than any of God's creation. Many men will curse while they live and blaspheme as they draw their last breath. That is why the judgments will fall upon them. That is why these judgments are so great. Blasphemy is counted one of the greatest of sins. "For thus saith the Lord God, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assy,

rians oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for nought? They that rule over them make them to howl, saith the Lord; and my name continually every day is blasphemed," (Isa. 52 :4-5). "And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well as the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death," (Lev. 24: 16). In Moses' day they stoned the blasphemers. In this day, they will be stoned from heaven. Hail can kill any army that comes against Christ. "And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword," (Josh ua 10: 11) . Antichrist, with all his supernatural powers with all the armies of the earth, will be destroyed by Christ, and His supernatural powers and all the armies of heaven, (Rev. 19: 19). A supernatural battle was waged. We will win the victory. That supernatural has now begun. There is a line drawn in every church. On one side the people believe in miracles, the supernatural power of God and divine deliverance. On the other side, men go by form and ritual. They scoff at the faith that is entrusted to men. They make fun of spiritual gifts. They rely on their education and their natural carnal knowledge. Will you get on the winning side? Will you get on the side that I am on? No nation or city will escape. Your city will not protect you. No bomb shelter can protect you. If you run into a bomb shelter, a hundred thousand people will go in after you, they will pull it down. Your gold cannot deliver you in that day. The rocks and mountains will not protect you in this hour of wrath.

"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, 10, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of' hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, .even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and 'island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth; and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks , Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the tl~rone, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the greaf day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand," (Rev. 6:12-17)? There is only one refuge and you can come into that refuge now. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe. Christ is our refuge. "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked," (Psalms 91:7-8). You can go to meet Jesus and not be here on this sin-cursed earth when these plagues come your way. You can escape these plagues by going up in the Rapture, (I Thes. 4 :16-17). "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel" and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." You can go meet Jesus and not be here when these plagues come this way. Take on the whole armor of God that you might escape these things that are com22

ing upon the world. Pray always that you might be counted worthy to escape these plagues. Take on the wedding garment. Have your vessels filled with oil. Be sealed for the day of redemption. When the plagues fell upon the people in Egypt, God's people were protected. They were with Moses. When these plagues fall upon people, we can be with Jesus at the marriage supper in the air. He is a prophet like unto Moses. You can be dwelling with Jesus in the air where no plague can come. Be protected from these seven last plagues. "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling, (Psalms 91 :10).

CHAPTER

II

THE GIFT OF MIRACLES The other night I was talking to Brother Savage. He told me that he does not have as much love and compassion as he had when he was first saved. He said that just after he was saved, he would cry when a little puppy dog was run over by a car or hurt in some way. He would pick up this little puppy dog and cry over it. He said he wanted to get back to the place where he would cry over puppy dogs again. I told him that he was growing up. He is becoming a man in the Lord. Paul said that when he became a man, he put away childish things, (I Cor. 13). "In malice be ye children, in understanding be ye men," (I Cor. 14 :20). God wants us to be a man, but yet a child. He wants us to be compassionate yet He wants us to be tough as a man. We are hardened soldiers. We are fighting a good fight of faith. Jesus wept; yet Jesus rebuked. He told the officials of the church that they were hypocrites, vipers, whited sepulchres and

blind leaders of the blind. He told them that they were of their father, the devil, (Matt. chapter 23; John chapters 6 and 8). He made a whip and ran some religious people out of the temple, (John 2 :15). He told Peter, "Get behind me, Satan." God's word commands us to reprove and rebuke with all authority, (Titus 2:15). He" said for us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them, (Eph. 5 :11). Now it , is pretty easy for us to obey the first part of that verse, but it takes a real Christian to do the second part of it. If your brother sin against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him, (Luke 17:3). God commands us to reprove and rebuke, (II Tim. 4 :2). We all like to be good Christians. We like to be tender. We like to be full of love. That is wonderful, but God wants us to have a tough hide like a rhinocerous. People will shoot fiery darts at us from every side. This battle is no place for a weakling. A soldier must be tough. I was watching some men build a road one time. A bulldozer went ahead, tearing all the trees, rocks and stumps out of the way. It looked like the road was being torn up. Soon a grader came along. It made the road nice and smooth. In fact, it built a new road. Many of us like to be a grader, but we hold back from doing rough jobs. Sometimes God has a rough job to send us on. He sends us to some rough territory. Our feet must be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Someone that would dance and shout in the spirit all the time may not be able to do the rough work. Weare like a grader sometimes and we are like a bulldozer sometimes. Not many people like to be the bulldozer type or have a bulldozer type of ministry. It is necessary. God is looking for people that He can use in the rough places, to do the hard jobs. They will be criticized, spit upon, mocked and knocked. But if we will have a tough hide, it will not bother us too""

much. He is looking for a man to stand in the gap. A baby can't do the job. We must grow up. We must not be a crybaby all of our life. Daniel was a kind man who prayed very often. He was without fault before God yet he was tough enough to defy the king's army. He was too tough for the wise men. The lions did not care for this kind of man for their breakfast. The three Hebrew children were children of God. They were full of God. They were packed full of love, yet they were tough. They would not bow. They would not burn. The fire burned the cords from around them. The men who threw them in the fire were consumed, yet these three boys stood. They were not exactly babies. They were not cream puffs. "Quit ye like men, be strong," (I Cor. 16 :13). Martin Luther did not sit and cry, or ask someone to pray for him when he was persecuted. He boldly walked up to the state church and nailed the papers on the church door. He faced the whole world. He was stern. He was firm. He meant business. He stood against the whole world and won. We saw where hundreds of Christians defied the authorities and were fed to the hungry lions. Read the account of the heroes of faith in the 11th chapter of Hebrews. "Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trials of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in 25

sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute afflicted, tormented ... " (Heb. 11:33-37). We need to be tough on the outside and tender on the inside. They tell us Napoleon was as bold as a lion on the outside, but yet on the inside he was as calm as a dove. I know ministers today who have weathered the storms. They meet the devil on his own ground and conquer him. Yet they are tender enough. They cry all night. They must be original. There can be no copying here. We must do all these things under the anointing of the spirit of God and be led by His Holy Spirit, if we want God to stand with us. We cannot stand within ourselves. Moses put out his rod and brought the lice, frogs and hail. He turned the water into blood. He caused grievous sores to break out upon the people. He closed the sea on Pharaoh and all of his hosts. He shut his sister, Miriam, out of the camp seven days only because she murmured and complained. He opened the earth and swallowed 250 families because they criticized his ministry, (Numbers 16 :30). He had a boy put to death because this boy cursed, (Lev. 24 :23). He pronounced the death penalty on people because they committed adultery, or worked on the Sabbath day, (Lev. 20:10; Numbers 15:32). Joshua went into the battle in person and conquered. He had Achan put to death because Achan held back God's part. Samson slayed three thousand people with the jawbone of an ass. Shamyar took an ox goad and forced a whole army to retreat. He won the battle, (Judges 3:5) . Elijah had 950 false prophets killed, (I Kings 18 :40). Elijah withheld the rain from a group of unbelievers for three-and-one-half years. We are men of like passions as Elijah, (James 5 :17). Elijah called down fire from heaven to destroy some people that would not accept his ministry, (l Kings 2 :24). It seems that Elijah and John the Baptist both

wore animal skins for clothes. They were not exactly cream puffs or sissies. Elisha called some she-bears out of the woods and destroyed forty teen-agers that did not believe in the rapture, (II Kings 2 :24). One time Elisha faced a whole army of people, just he and his servant. He struck them blind and won the battle, (Ll.Kings 6 :18). These men were not all babies. They grew up to be men. Stephen was not exactly a weakling. He told the religious leaders that refused and resisted the Holy Ghost that they were, "Stiff'necked and uncircumcized in heart," (Acts. 7 :51) He was not a cream puff. Caleb was a man who was a rough warrior and a strong soldier. He asked for the mountain full of giants. He could fight as well when he was eightyfive years old as he could when he was forty. He was a war-horse who was anxious to get into the battle. Here lately I have seen some war-horses that can hardly stand still when the battle is on. They want to get on the front lines. They want to go forth conquering and to conquer. Before the end of time, God will have some men that will be doing the same works as did the prophets of old. They will turn water into blood. They will call fire down from heaven and shut up the heavens where there will be no rain, (Rev. 11:3-5). The Bible didn't say there would be only two men that would do this. There was an account written of two men that would be doing this, but God may have two thousand men that will bring down judgment. We don't believe it was some old prophets raised up who died thousands of years ago. We belieVe that God has plenty of men today that He can use to do these works, because this is the gift of miracles in operation. God has set the gifts in the church. These people will call down judgment on the disobedient. They will judge saints; they will judge angels, (I Cor. 6 :2-4). They will call down judg27

ment on the world. Miracles of judgment will operate through their ministry. I know a boy that disturbed Brother G 's altar call. Something within Brother G said, "This boy will be dead in twenty-four hours." The next day Brother G and the pastor were riding along. They saw a car run into a freight train. The car was demolished and a boy was instantly killed. His brains were knocked a long way. It was this boy that disturbed his services the day before. Brother V was a pastor in a certain church. He had trouble in this church. There was no cure for this trouble except for one thing: This pastor spoke the word. This woman went out to rneet God. The Sunday School doubled. A revival came and the church moved on. You can multiply these things by one thousand and get a little picture of what is taking place among God's people even today. God's angels are ministering spirits, (Heb. 1 :14). You may entertain angels unaware, (Heb. 13 :2). All angels don't have wings. Many times angels come in the form of men. In fact, angels were messengers in the Bible times. The leaders of the churches were called angels, (Rev. 2: 1). Angels are messengers today. People today fly through heaven on these large commercial jets carrying the gospel overseas. God uses blood-washed beings to carry the gospel. The Bible says that in the last days an angel will be flying through the heavens with the everlasting gospel, (Rev. 14 :6). That is God's messengers today, no doubt, taking the gospel overseas to the heathen lands and around the world. This gospel must be published to all the world and then the end will come. The Bible declares that angels will let these last seven plagues loose upon the earth. No doubt they are men in their glorified bodies. The angel that talked to John was his own brethern, a fellow-servant, (Rev. 19 :10; 22: 9) .

Could God use you in the last days even as He did Moses and Elijah, to bring plagues down on the head of God's enemies? Jesus cannot come back to this earth until everything is restored, even all the gifts. Even the gift of miracles will be included, (Acts 3 :21). Through such men as Wesley, Moody, Finney, Spurgeon and others, the fruits of the spirit were restored to the church. Joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, longsuffering, love, etc., was restored to men. But we must go on. They, without us, cannot be made perfect. We are not looking for a Moody revival, or a Finney revival; we must go on further. Through men and women today, the gifts are being restored. A few years ago" we saw tongues come back to the church. Next, we saw interpretation return to its rightful place. Then prophecy came along. Men marveled each time. Then it didn't attract attention so much. It didn't draw such a large crowd as before. It became so shouting and dancing and praising God didn't attract too many people. Sanctification became common; holiness became just an everyday affair. This didn't draw too big a crowd. Then the gifts of healing were restored. Healing has become so common in these days that men pass it by as an everyday affair. After this, certain men were raised up with a word of knowledge. They could tell the secret of men's hearts. A minister could tell people what they had been thinking before they left home, and what they had prayed about before they left home. Like the prophets of old, these men are seers. They see into men's lives. They see into the future. They tell the saints all their heart. Yet, some people will say, "We have seen that before." They go on in their everyday life. They go to the worldly amusements and watch television, many times instead of coming to a revival. In some revivals we see spirits discerned. This gift will be increased more and more as the end of time draws near

Then what will be next? The gift of miracles has begun to operate now. It must be.returned, This gift has nothing to do with healing of men's bodies. This gift covers many other things besides the human body. This gift will stop the storms, divide the rivers, bring down hail and fire from heaven, and hold back the rain, (Rev. 11:3-5). What Moses and Elijah had will be returned to men in our day. What Peter and Paul had will be given to" men in our time. We don't say that all the plagues in the last days will come because of the gift of miracles being operated. It may not all happen that way, but we know according to Revelation 11:3-5, that some of them will take place because of that, and we know that is what brought the plagues in Moses' day. He stretched out his rod and saw hail fall. He saw the waters turn to blood. He saw the pestilence come upon the earth. He saw the plagues hit Egypt. He saw Pharaoh's army drowned in the river and lost. Why couldn't God use men today, if He wanted to, to even bring forth grievous sores upon people; even to turn the water into blood if men don't repent; even to stretch forth their hands and cause hail, the size of a hundred pound block of ice, to fall from heaven? If they don't repent then, these ministers could withdraw death from them and tell them they couldn't die for the space of five months. Why can't man put out his hands in the name of the Lord? He is God's servant. Why can't he stretch forth his hands and say, "That is enough!" Why can't he divide the river of Euphrates at the right time? Why can't he put forth his hands and start the battle of Armageddon, loose the demons upon this earth, put forth his hands and say it is enough, and cause the battle of Armageddon to be ended? God used Moses to slay Pharaoh's army. Why can't God use a man today and even put a stop to the battle of Armageddon, or speak God's word to the world and tell them that time shall be no longer? This gift won't be given to sissies and babies. Moses

was prepared for this ministry. He went out of the king's palace and was kept on the backside of the desert. God may have some men today who will be chased into the wilderness. Elijah was chased into the wilderness for three and a half years. God will have some people in the last days that will be chased into the wilderness for three and a half years. Read Revelation the twelfth chapter. Elijah made a preparation. Elijah lived out in the wilderness. His brook dried up. The king chased him. Ahab searched all the nations of the world, seeking his life. This soldier was hardened. This ,.soldier went through maneuvers; then . he was used onthe front lines. If you are never willing to go through the maneuvers, or the little trials and tests that you go through with now, how can you be able to be used on the front lines? If you are faithful in that which is little, you will also be faithful in much. We are going under sealed orders. God is going to use us. If we are faithful to Him now in the little things we can also be faithful in the big things. We are going to heaven to serve and not just playa harp and float on a cloud. We will be as angels in heaven. He has made His angels ministering spirits. He sent His angel forth to shake the jail for Paul and Silas. He sent His angel to turn Peter out of jail. He sent His angel to smite Herod with worms and slay an army of a hundred and eighty-five thousand people. So God has a place for everyone of His children. If we are faithful to Him here, we will also be faithful there. If the devil was cast out of heaven because he rebelled, I am sure God won't let people go to heaven today if they rebell against His will and stick their feet in the ground and balk like a blue-nosed Missouri mule. We must be faithful. We must be yielded to God. Elijah and Moses listened to God. They talked instead of hearing people talk all day. They heard God talk instead of listening to the gossip that fills the ear of thousands of people. After they listened to God, then when they met people, they could say, "Thus

saith the Lord." They were only channels through which God could work. God had Elijah to do strange things. Elijah brought fire down upon men and destroyed them who were seeking his life. Elijah told kings and queens what to do. Elijah was God's servant and he took the place of God to men. We are men of like passions. God wants to use men today. One time He told Elijah, "Go hide thyself." And then when he was filled with God, after he had been alone with God for so long, He said to Elijah, "Go show thyself." Many people want to show themselves and never hide themselves. When Elijah obeyed God after he had hid himself, miracles of judgment followed. God said, "Study to show thyself approved unto God." A lot of people put a period there, and they only study to show themselves. You can't be rewarded openly unless you pray in secret, (Matt. 6: 6) . You see God as you hide away with Him and read the Bible and meditate upon His word. You do not see God in a television. He is not in the "harlots from Hellywood." Lord, in Jesus name, help the men and women today to straighten up and be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and not be babies all their life. Help them to grow up and be men in the Lord. Help them oh God, that they will be tough and be willing to bear persecutions. Help them to be faithful in the little things and let you use them in even the smaller things, like in healing, tongues and interpretation. After they are faithful in these smaller things, may they go forth like men of old, like Caleb, Joshua, Moses, Elijah.Peter and Paul. May they go forth and be used of God in these last days even if it is to bring judgment upon the heads of rebellious people, and cause them to bow down and repent in the tribulation days. Heavenly Father, in Jesus name, help us to prepare ourselves. We will give you the praise. Amen.
