What is water ?

Water is a chemical substance with the chemical formula H2O. Its molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms connected by covalent bonds. Water is a liquid at ambient conditions, but it often coexists on Earth with its solid state, ice, and gaseous state (water vapor or steam). In our planet , water covers 70,9% of the surface .

Why water is an importance important resource ?


Water has many distinct properties that are critical for the proliferation of life that set it apart from other substances. Water as an essential part of many metabolic processes within the body. Without water, these particular metabolic processes could not exist. Ex : starches, triglycerides etc. Water is fundamental to photosynthesis and respiration . If plants cant photosynthesis that means there no more oxygen for our human and animals in this world to live . Another importants of water is the place for a lot of marine animals and plants to live .

Water and Human

Civilization has historically flourished around rivers and major waterways. The ancient society of the Egyptians depended entirely upon the Nile. Large metropolises like Rotterdam, London, Montreal, Paris, New York City, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Tokyo, Chicago, and Hong Kong owe their success in part to their easy accessibility via water and the resultant expansion of trade. Islands with safe water ports, like Singapore, have flourished for the same reason. Access to clean drinking water was and is a major factor in human. Now we use water for : agriculture, as a scientific standard, for drinking, washing, chemical uses, heat exchange, fire extinction, recreation, food processing etc.

Water pollution
It has been suggested that it is the leading worldwide cause of deaths and diseases, and that it accounts for the deaths of more than 14,000 people daily. An estimated 700 million Indians have no access to a proper toilet, and 1,000 Indian children die of diarrheal sickness every day. Some 90% of China's cities suffer from some degree of water pollution, and nearly 500 million people lack access to safe drinking water. Causes : The specific contaminants leading to pollution in water include chemiscals from factories , cars , etc. Effects : The most effects we could see that there are a lot of animals are extincted , acid rain , human beings and health . How to fix it : There are many ways to make fix it like make news about harm of water pollution , tell what well get if we make water dirty etc.
