Giving A Talk : Talking About Oneself 1. It is easy to write about yourself because you already know many things about yourself. You know - your name, age address, hobbies, dreams and ambitions; your likes and dislikes; details about your family; your parents occupations, your siblings pastimes etc. 2. Write out all the information in full sentences. Arrange the sentences into paragraphs. 3. Use the simple present tense to describe your everyday or habitual actions and also to describe feelings that are true for you. 4. Use the simple past tense to describe actions that are already over. Your family shifted to another town because your father was transferred there. You are now a new student in a school in that town.
