Introduction
A. DESCRIPTION Unit 1 is aimed at comprehending the students of the use of some expressions that are usually used in our daily activity. The activities covered are expressing greetings and parting, introducing ourselves and others, asking and giving information, and thanking. These expressions will help the students to aware any situation in their life. In Unit 2, the basic competence is Stating and describing things, people, time, day, month, and year. We put an attempt in giving students the materials on how to describe people according to their professions by using their job descriptions. We believe that this is particularly important for vocational school students who are more likely to meet many different professions way sooner than the others. The elaboration of professions is considered sufficient to encourage students to identify peoples characteristics. As for using expressions of time, it is lifetime knowledge because it is used in daily life. It will stimulate students ability to adapt with situations and relevant language use to implement in those situations. Unit 3 is designed to help students to be able to describe things and people related to their physical appearance, origin, and material. Reflection
Are you happy after studying this unit?

Do you have any problem in studying this unit?

What did you do to handle the problem?

In your opinion, which part is the most difficult?

If you find problems in understanding greetings, you may understand more about the time since the key of saying greetings is how to give an appropriate expression in the time situation. If your problem is in understanding how to introduce yourself or others, you can start watching some western movies. You can see how people introduce each other in the actual life. You may find some difficulties in learning the use of Simple Present Tense. For this case, you can learn from your computer. Actually there many the Simple present tense used as instructions in computer operations if you notice. For example, you may often find this sentence while you are going to delete something in your computer, Do you want to delete these items?, and so on. Those examples will help you in understanding the pattern. One more thing, please don't forget to say thank you to people who helped you. Good luck!

Are you happy after studying this unit?

Do you have any problem in studying this unit?

What did you do to handle the problem?

In your opinion, which part is the most difficult?

If you find problems in understanding professions, you may ask your parents, siblings, or neighbors about what they do in their job. If that is still not helping, how about watching some movies? In Spiderman or Superman movie, the main character worked in a newspaper agency. You can see how is reporting news by watching them. If your problem is in understanding time, day, and date, you may try several things. First, try to practice with your friends in telling times. Dont forget the important terms given in the summary. To make yourself more familiar with day and dates in English, how about using an English calendar at home? Or use English setting in your cell phone so that the day and date will be shown in English. Dont forget that in telling dates, the number is the ordinal ones. So, it was said November sixth, not November six. Good luck!

Reflection
Are you happy after studying this unit?

Do you have any problem in studying this unit?

What did you do to handle the problem?

In your opinion, which part is the most difficult?

If you find problems in understanding how to apologize and show sympathy, you may ask your parents, siblings, or friends about what they will say in such situations. If that is still not helping, how about watching some movies? Apologizing and showing sympathy are two situations in life that you can find in many movies. If you have problem in communicating with your friends, you can start making a deal with them. For example, on Monday you have to communicate in English with your friends. No one is allowed to say any words in another language.

Remember that practice makes perfect. When you get yourself to use English in daily life, you will get better and better every day.

Good luck!
