Muhammad is only a messenger. Messengers have passed away before him.

If he should die, or be killed, will you turn back on your heels? Those who turn on their heels do not harm the Lord in the least. God will reward the grateful. [al i Imran 3:144]

- How do we feel if someone from our family dies, the closer the relative, the more the sadness... - When the news of the departure of the Prophet reached Uthamn he became motionless, when it reached Ali he fell unconcious. The general Sahaba are saying 'Only if Allah had not shown us this day, Only if we had died before this.' - Abu Bakr was traveling from his home when the news reached him. Tears began flowing from his eyes and he says Inna Lilahi Wa Inna... He begins to rush, then he realizes the Sahaba are torn apart from grief.... - The strongest amongst the Sahaba, the man from whom even the Devil was afraid of...Umar ibn al Khattab how did he react? He is standing with a sword in his and and is saying: ' The hypocrites claim that Nabi Muhammad had died! By Allah, he has not died, but he has gone to meet his Lord just like Musa went. And the Messenger of Allah will return and he will cut the hands and the feet of those people that are making these claims. By Allah! If Umar hears anyone saying that Muhammad died, Umar will sever the head from their body, Umar will kill them!' - Abu Bakr takes permission from his daughter Ayesha to enter the house. Nabi kareem is lying in one corner, covered with cloth. He comes and uncovers the cloth, he kneels down and he begins to kiss the blessed of face of RasulAllah with tears flowing from his eyes and he says: 'What Umar ibn Khattab is saying is wrong. Nabi kareem has left the world. Nabi kareem has died. Allah's blessings be upon you O Messenger of Allah. You were beautiful when you were alive and you are beautiful while you have passed away. - Abu Bakr then leaves and he makes his way to the masjid he found Umar talking to people. He said: "Umar, be seated." Umar refused to sit down. People left Umar and came towards Ab Bakr. he tells the Sahaba: 'O my companions, Nabi kareem had informed you that he was going to leave this world, Allah had informed you that Nabi kareem was to die, when Nabi kareem was alive, whilst he was amongst you, Allah also told you that you are also to die. O people, whoever worships the Almighty Allah, the Almighty Allah is alive, the Almighty Allah does not die, whoever took Muhmmad as his Lord, then Muhammad remains no more, fear the Almighty Allah and grab hold of your Deen.' Then he recited the verse: WAMA MUHAMMADUN ILLA RASOOL.... IT WAS THEN THAT UMAR SAID: 'It was like as if this verse of the Quran had not been revealed before this!' After saying this Umar collapsed saying my feet cannot carry me anymore. - Upon occasion the Prophet was sitting with the Sahaba. He looked at them and began to weep. He said something along the lines of my time is near. I entrust you with Allah. Ibn Masood asked, O Messenger of Allah, who will give you ghusl The Prophet replied My ahlul bait Ibn Masood asked, O Messenger

of Allah, who will lower you into the grave? The Prophet replied My ahlul bait Ibn Masood asked O Messenger of Allah, who will pray your jinazah? The Prophet began to weep and said After you bathe me and after you enshroud me, then you all should leave. Jibraeel and Mikaeel will pray my jinazah. Then the angels of the arsh. Then the angels of the seven heavens. Then my ahlul bait will pray my jinazah, then their women and then their children. Then the muhajireen will come, then their women will come then their children. Then the ansaar will come, then their women, then their children, then their slaves and slavegirls. Then leave me to my Allah. - When it came time for ghusl then the ones that gave the Prophet ghusl were Ali, Shaqran the Prophets freed slave, Ababs, Fadl ibn Abbas, Abdullah ibn Abbas. When Ali was pouring water then he said O Messenger of Allah, had you not commanded us to be patient then we would have showed you our crying! - For a long time the room remained empty. Then each person would come and would pray the jinazah alone. There was no jamah, no imam. This continued until Wednesday night, after isha the Prophet was lowered into his grave. Fatima r.a. asked Anas after the burial How did you have the courage to pour dirt on the Messenger of Allah?! - Make intention O my brothers, that you should make taubah. This is the month, to establish a relationship with Allah and His Messenger! Make taubah now. If you dont pray your salah, then start. If you dont give zakah, then start. If you are not talking to your brother, then start. If youre fighting with your wife then make up. If you disobey your parents then ask forgivenes. Say it with me Ya Rabbighfirlee x3! O Allah forgive me, O Allah forgive me, O Allah forgive me. For those brothers that said it with sincerity, I congratulate you. Allah has heard your taubah. He has accepted your taubah. REMEMBER THE FAREWELL KHUTBAH OF THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH!!! "O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY. O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn 'Abd'al Muttalib (Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived... Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste. O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a nonArab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves. Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone. O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people".
