History

ZEST was established on the first day of 2002 with facilities to perform traditional quality control activities of medicines, water and allied products utilizing chemical and microbiological techniques. In the course of its operation, ZEST has added more sophisticated equipment like HPLC, GC, AAS, UV Spectrophotometer, Auto Titrator, precision stability chambers in addition to the equipment previously acquired.

ZEST has now been accreditated as per ISO/IEC 17025 : 2005 for Chemical Testing by NABL [National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories], Department of Science and Technology, India. This is our matter of pride to mention this as ZEST is the first and only Institution in Nepal to get accreditated as per ISO/IEC-17025 : 2005.
