Anastasia Fauci Mrs. Scolfield English 3 November 30, 2011 Abortion is wrong Everyone has a choice about what they want to do with their babies. I agree with some decisions that women make. But I truly believe abortion is the wrong thing to do. Most women who get abortions regret it and feel empty and terrible. Some women become depressed and some commit suicide. There is a lot of argument over this issue. Which, it is hard to decide what to do about this subject. A lot of people take each side. Pro-life and pro-choice have their different opinions for example pro-life is against abortion and think its murder. Pro-choice think that its the womens choice weather she gets rid of the baby or not. There are other examples I will share during this essay. Pro-life also think no human is allowed to intentionally harm another including an unborn baby. Even though it may not be fully formed a fetus in the second trimester is still able to feel pain. Abortion clinics rely on taxpayers money to keep them running. Rape is not an excuse to abort the child. There is no such thing as an unwanted child. Rape victims rarely get pregnant but if it does there are other options out there. Teenage pregnancy is common but it leaves options open for adoptions to those who cant have children of their own. Point being abortion is wrong.

Pro-choice thinkers believe that its the womens choice and that if its an abortion the woman wants then its her right to have one. Most women who have been raped do not want to carry some mans child in them for nine months. Teen pregnancy is wrong in most cases and most

The affects of having an abortion: may cause the woman to have a bladder injury. If the uterus is perforated your urinary bladder can be perforated too and cause peritonitis. Can also cause bowels to become perforated and may cause fevers, vomiting etc. women who abort are more at risk of getting breast cancer. Breast cancer is 50% higher in America because of abortion. An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurs outside the uterus. After an abortion u are 8 to 20 times more likely to have ectopic pregnancy. If not discovered sooner it can rupture and cause you to bleed to death if not taking into emergency surgery. Can cause effects on future pregnancy. Most likely wont be able to have a normal pregnancy. The baby may have a low birth weight. The child may die in the first few months of life. The woman may have more miscarriages during other pregnancies. Abortion can cause sickness like hepatitis and infections. The woman can also suffer from mental and psychological problems. They can often cause depression and suicide. There a lot more effects to having an abortion. I know that everyone has their own opinions and their own belief as do i. my opinion is strongly against abortion. I say again there are other options if the mother cannot take care of the child. I believe every human born or unborn should have a chance to live. I think if the mother feels the need for an abortion she needs to think about it strongly because the baby will begin to feel after day 17 of conception. So think about the child! Dont take life give life.
