"Jim's knowledge and presentation captivated the class. I am excited about GD&T now." ...DaimlerChrysler "I'm happy to report that...we have had (9) individuals successfully attain GD&T certification. We can all directly thank Jim for his excellent course instruction in recognizing this accomplishment." Larry...Benet
On-site training is conducted using our comprehensive course outlines that are then tailored to your designs, product lines, and processes and structured to meet the varying knowledge levels of your personnel with classes in basic interpretation of design documentation through advanced classes in the use of GD&T in complex designs and assemblies. We offer course lengths of 2 1/2 to 5 days in length -- we will work with you to tailor a program to meet your training needs, budget and time constraints. All GDT training courses are a combination of lecture, discussion and 'applicationsbased' problem solving. Course topics include:
q
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing [per the ASME Y14.5-2009 and 1994 Standards and the Differences between them].
NEW RULES in GD&T [per ASME Y14.5-2009] 2 day course that showcases the new symbols, rule changes and basic principle revisions from ASME Y14.5M-1994 to ASME Y14.5-2009 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (basic GD&T concepts) ASME 14.5M1994
Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis Dimensioning and Tolerancing Principles for Gages and Fixtures & Variables Data Collection & Analysis
Both of these programs are structured to allow students to participate by completing applications-based problems throughout the courses. Self-teaching/classroom use or site licenses available.
GD&T [per ASME Y14.5-2009] and the NEW RULES DVD Training Series 3 hours of training (3 DVDs) Applications-Based GD&T DVD Training Series (per ASME Y14.5M-1994) 14 hours of training (12 DVDs)
In cooperation with professional societies, colleges, and universities, James D. Meadows provides public courses in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and related topics.
