Hey! Have you heard of the 20th century? Did you know that Mickey Mouse was the most famous cartoon during the 20th century and now too? Well, Ill tell you now Mickey Mouse was the most popular cartoon character during the 20th century. Walt Disney created Mickey Mouse, he design him, he thought of the idea. Walt Disney is short for Walter Elias Disney. Then later on he ask this other cartoonist to help him draw Mickey, that cartoonist agreed his name was Ub Iwerks which stands for Ubbe Ert Iwwerks. Like any other animation character Mickey Mouse is the lead, the most famous animation character!

About Mickey
Walt Disney thought of idea of Mickey from his old pet a mouse that he had trained. He designs him and drew his creation, and then he asked Ub Iwerks to help him draw his creation. Then after Walt drew his creation he decided to name him Mortimer. But then Walts wife, Lillian, thought it was too boring and convinced him to change from Mortimer to Mickey ( Later on Walt Disney wanted to use the name Mortimer so he made Mickeys arch enemy name to be Mortimer). A legend was born. Mickey Mouse was constructed with 2 big circles for the ears, and another bigger circle for the head, and 2 oval for the eyes with 2 circles for the pupils, a rectangular shape for the body but a bendy one, with two skinny strips for the legs, and two large yellow shoes for the feet, two thinner strips for the arms and two gloves, finally a pointy bold line for the tail. He usually wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves.

Again he is leading the animated cartoon character. He is the best-animated character that human kind has ever known.

Life before Mickey was pretty much plain and boring and nothing was fun to the audience all you do is watch in silence would you want that? You watch a no sound, no fun cartoon, and the wind just blow through your ears. People think blank and there was no excitement going on about cartoon! Kids were truly bored.

Life after: After the show Steamboat Willie everything change people view about how people think about cartoon old, boring, plain roomers, but its all over now . People think bright! The sound blew inside the ears of the audience. Audience were satisfied about this. Mickey Mouse is a creative and he is a fun character. Kids arent bored anymore.

If you think that Steamboat Willie was the first Mickey Mouse cartoon and that is when he was born, well youre wrong. Mickey Mouse was born in a cartoon name Plane Crazy on May.15.1928. The released date was also on May.15.1928. The cartoon is about Mickey and Minnie is on a date and they are riding on a plane and Mickey was piloting the plane with Minnie in the back seat and all of a sudden the plane goes ROCK AND ROLL CRAZY, because Mickey doesnt really know how to fly! But Plane Crazy wasnt famous, it wasnt a hit, it was a failure because the audience wasnt impressed. And nobody came to watch Plane Crazy after that day during the 20th century. A star was born.

This is the first cartoon that had sound. Walt Disney made this cartoon with sound for the FIRST TIME EVER! Mickey Mouse as the main character in this first sound cartoon Steamboat Willie was released on November.28.1928! So that made Mickey Mouse a big hit! Everyone who knew about this sound cartoon actually came to see the Steamboat Willie show even Philos (the T.V creator) first son was dying to watch Steamboat Willie! From this day on Mickey Mouse is famous. This actually made the audience interesting! This is where Mickeys life of success begun. It all started in 1928 in Steamboat Willie. So then Walt thought that maybe he could make other Mickey cartoons to have sound so it would be During World War II, when the U.S allied forces invaded Normandy. My Opinion
I love Mickey because hes sweet, cute, and adorable. Mickey is a friendly character, hes always cheerful and full of excitement. Kids are the best at loving Mickey, but not all kids like him. What makes me choose this topic as my change agent is because I used to adore him and now still but not so much. I dont really want him to be forgotten, I dont want the best animated character in the world to be forgotten. He inspired me when I was a kid I used to be so bored, then I watch all this episode of him and his friends I get excited, they have different adventures and its very exciting and fun outdoor, so I went outside and all the sunshine was facing me, running through the fresh air, smelling fresh air from the outdoor trees. It changes the way I see about outdoors. Do you think Mickey is a good animated character even though hes a mouse?
