Subject:-Concession in water bills of the retired employees of Delhi Jal Board including erstwhile D.W.S and S.D. Undertaking reg. . As part of extending goodwill amongst employees and the Board, the D.B.J. provides concession in bills of water charges to its working employee. As a further step for the welfare of employees, the D.J.B. in its meeting held on 31-10-2007 and as a further step for welfare of employees keeping in view very small financial effects, it is proposed: (i) That the concession being granted to working employees of the Delhi Jal Board be also extended to retired employees of the Delhi Jal Board including erstwhile DWS & SD Undertaking only subject to existing and slightly amended terms and conditions of such concession as given below. (ii) (iii) (iv) The concession shall be applicable only in the case of one domestic water connection. The water connection on which concession is being sought should be in the name of the retired DJB employee. The property where the water connection in the name of retired employee is installed should be owned by the retired DJBs employee or his dependents and this concession shall remain in force till the lifetime of retired employee. (v) The concerned retired employee shall have to furnish a Life Certificate in the prescribed Performa in the month of May every year to concerned Zonal Revenue Officer for continuation of concession failing which the concession shall be withdrawn without any notice or reference, however, the same shall be restored retrospectively to the concerned retired employee after receipt of Life Certificate from him / her by the concerned Zonal Revenue Officer. Performa of Life Certificate will be prepared by the Director ) in consultation with Member (Finance). (vi) That the concession shall be effective from the date of approval of the Board.
