UC Role Progression
Posted by Mirabuck on March 26, 2010 at 12:36am Last changed: 37 weeks 6 days ago
UC role progression uses Ubercart's 2.x conditional actions in conjunction with the UC roles module. It answers a need for a purchasable role that enables a user to progress through a series of predened roles according to a set schedule. A possible use case for this: purchased access to an e-learning course wherein each week the user gains access to a new set of nodes. An admin interface allows role progressions to be easily dened. Users may progress from role x to role y if and only if they already have prerequisite role z. An Ubercart conditional action promotes users to these predened roles as predecessor roles expire.
Installation
1. Activate module 2. Go to /admin/store/settings/ucroleprog and setup role progressions 3. Go to /admin/store/ca and edit the 'Notify customer when a role is about to expire' (recommended) or 'Notify customer when a role is revoked' conditional actions. 4. Choose 'check and invoke role progression' as an action on the 'Action' tab of the conditional action you are using.

Test Yourself
Posted by falcon on June 28, 2010 at 3:25pm Last changed: 18 weeks 12 hours ago
Test Yourself allow users to test their skills and get feedback quickly. Test Yourself is a Quiz extension and provides an alternative to the default quiz taking logic provided by the Quiz project itself. Test Yourself is dierent from the normal Quiz taking logic in many ways: Responses will not be stored in the database Quiz taking will be a lot faster Quiz taking will create less server load Test Yourself scales a lot better than quiz. It will be easy to use web-cache like Varnish when using Test Yourself Not all the normal Quiz options will be available The rst version of this module will only support the multichoice question-type We hope we'll have a version of Test Yourself available for testing this summer/fall.

This module acts as an API to the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro e-Learning platform [1]. It is shipped with a module that adds a "acrobat meeting" cck eld which you can assign to your event content types. If congured, the eld presents a direct link to the room with an individual session for the current drupal user. If the user is not available in acrobat pro it will be created. Coming up: A suite of modules adding e-learning features to the book module. Among the features: - Glossary - Usability improvements - Multiple courses from one site - Integration with assessment modules - Pages can be locked/unlocked depending on date or depending on the users results on dierent tasks. We will not try to re-invent the wheel here. We are in contact with maintainers of other modules, and will make contact with more maintainers as we go. We will try to make use of existing projects that can provide us with the results we are looking for.
