Lecture 41
Homework 1
To make the student work at home regularly to improve their problem solving ability. To test the analytical skills of the students
One set of analytical questions to be given to a group of not more Individual than ten students. So atleast six sets to be given in the class. Homework will include numerical analysis of problems from the topics covered in the class.
The homework will be evaluated out of 20 marks but its weightage is 10. The test will be evaluated out of 20 marks but its weightage is 10. Submission of report and presentation/viva
Test 1
Test will be taken from the topics covered up to the lecture 15. Individual Multiple sets of tests will be given in different groups as the test is being conducted in tutorials. Design problem will be given in a group of 3 students giving special attention to individual performance in group work. There will be two reviews one before MTE and one after MTE followed by the final solution of the design problem. A brief presentation/viva will be taken from each individual. Group
