Minutes from Bunbury Arts Project January Meeting 8/1/2012

Attendees: Kate Suddell, Dee Mosca, Tegan Daweegan, Vicki Pretorius, Helen Pearce Bunbury Arts Project will be heading towards the event sector lead by Renae and Kate, Dee has been appointed Youth Art Co-Ordinator and will focus on the art programs and be our art liaison. Looking at appointed a music event Co-Ordinator, discussed George Andrews possibly taking on the role. Introduction: Kate Suddell and Renae Adams will be registering as a company in February and will be the directors. Bunbury Arts Project will have a costume wardrobe to help new and existing performers have access to costumes with lesser limitations. As Kate and Renae work full time their availability will only be on the weekends. Helen Pearce: Photographer Helen loves to focus on documenting the process of events and will be involved with events where possible. Helen also makes costumes and has a huge stockpile of fabric; she also loves Henna art and plans to get back into it. Vicki : Bellydance school owner (Azzura) / Burlesque Dancer Poppy Deville Principle teacher at Azzura Bellydance school, has elements of Lebanese, Turkish, Greek, Tribal-style and improv on short notice to drumming and music, Bollywood, African, theatre type dance. Has also done singing telegrams and jumping out of cakes. Would love to perform as a dance with BAP and teaching (hen s nights) Can run specialised workshops, stage makeup and costuming. The Azzura school runs annual event at restaurants and theatre spaces, private performances for parties, festivals etc. Eaton foreshore festival, multicultural festival. Tegan Daweegan: Burlesque dancer Lola Sparkles Has been dancing Burlesque for 1 year but loves different styles of dance. Can make costumes, choreograph and also models. Dee Mosca: Artist General all rounder Will co-ordinator the youth art classes and events. Upcoming events: Big Mix Youth Festival Busselton January 15th Cass, Southern Rip Working with the car club Branching out in private event packages Working with Bunbury Roller Derby
