QUALITY POLICY FOLLOWED BY WIPRO: QUALITY POLICY: Quality and environment The foundation of Wipro Infrasturcture Engineering Oys quality policy is a written quality system that is based on following the ISO9000 standard. The quality system has been developed especially to support and clarify our own operations. Despite having a responsible quality manager the whole staff is obligated for constant improvement and finding corrective actions. Our welding processes are certified according to ISO3834-2 standard.

The main principles of our quality system are: We understand quality as equal components, delivery reliability and the will to serve customers. The customers can influence on the quality requirements of our products, operations and services. When making decisions, high quality outruns the delivery time. Our suppliers are required to have such quality management system that they are able to supply us with high quality products and services on time. Standards and safety Products manufactured by Wipro comply with EU machine directive requirements. Our products have to fulfill the responsibility and safety requirements set by local authorities from different market areas. Wipro has been actively participating in creating standards and safety requirements together with the government, as well as participating to decision making considering heavy duty vehicles in general Product development and testing

An intensive test period is conducted to every new product before releasing them into the markets. The process involves designing in modern 3D environment (CAD), computer aided FEA structural analysis and releasing the product into the testing period. The product is loaded with maximum forces well beyond the calculated safety margins. The cylinders are also tested and analyzed for fatigue failures. Finally, new products go through a long test period in a field application in its supposed using environment. Sustainable development and environmental issues Caring about the environment is one of the Wipro Infrastructure Engineering Oys key principles. To prove this, we have been granted with ISO14001 environmental certificate. We notice environment as a part of our operations so that as little damage as possible is done to human beings or to the nature. We follow the letter of the legislation as well as the local requirements and take into account our interest groups wishes and opinions. The management defines the principles and makes sure these are also followed. Our personnel is aware of the importance of the environmental issues. We all share the responsibility of minimizing the environmental impact of our personal tasks. We answer straightforward and without hesitation to all worries and queries from outside regarding our actions in the environmental issues. We develop our products, production processes and behavior constantly. With the help of our expertize, the environmental impact of our products and processes is well known. Our constant improvement program is aimed at minimizing the most environmentally hazardous risks, and different measurable targets are set. We monitor the progress and how the set targets are met. We pay extra attention to the life cycle of the products: high quality, sustainability, material selection and recycling. To minimize the environmental impact, we are reducing the amount of waste and hazardous waste as well as reducing chemical emissions and making sure the soil below us is safe. Evaluating the environmental impact is included to all of our investment plans.
