PREFACE

successful manager is a solid link between the management,

employee and customer. The basic aim of the training is to know how to apply theories and ethics into practice. The main aim of this training is to give students a complete knowledge of company and experience of management level of the company. As a student of MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (M.B.A) and as a part of M.B.A course it is very important to take industrial training from the practical point of view and it is must as per the university syllabus. This is the course about managerial activities administrative activities regarding Industry. Each and every industry needs good and trained executive officers. To fulfill this need, University has prepared this course which includes theoretical as well as practical aspects of various industrial matters. The theoretical knowledge is given to us by giving classroom lectures, with a view to giving practical knowledge; the university has arranged SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGAMME (SIP), which gives us practical knowledge about the business activities. This SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME starts after the completion of 1st year of M.B.A and the duration of this internship programme is of SIX (6) Weeks. In this regard, I have taken my industrial training at BHUJ MARCANTILE CO-OPERATIVE BANK, due to their high reputation and to take advantage of vast opportunity in bank. This report reflects whatever I came to know and observed during my training period in this bank.

EXECUTIVE SUMMERY

Tax Deducted at Source or best known TDS is one of the modes of collecting Income-tax from the assessee in India. This is governed under Indian Income Tax Act, 1961, by the Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT) and is part of the Department of Revenue managed by Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Ministry of Finance, and Govt. of India.

Some of such income subjected to T.D.S. is salary, interest, dividend, interest on securities, winnings from lottery, horse races, commission and brokerage, rent, fees for professional and technical services, payments to non-residents etc. It is always considered as an Advance tax which is paid to the government when we are being paid for provision made by us in the form of products or services. The report gives an overview of the banking Sector and company profile. And awareness of customers about different types of products and services offered by BMCB Bank. This study was conducted to find out the Customer Satisfaction regarding BMCB Bank. The main objective of the r es earch is to know t he cust omer satisfaction level and t heir p er c e p t i o n r e g a r d i n g B M C B B a n k a n d t o k n o w t h e c u s t o m e r a w a r e n e s s r e g a r d i n g t h e BMCB Banks products

This report is prepared using secondary data from the various reliable sources. Enough care is taken while gathering the data. Optimum used of data is taken in preparing the report. In brief I can define my project program as a complete guideline of my future as a finance manager.
