Household Information
At Summer Art Camp, young artists thrive as they are immersed in a world of imagination! Each session includes high-quality instruction through unique projects designed to harness the creativity within every child. Campers explore the fundamentals of drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media and jewelry and metals with professional Teaching Artists in a fun and relaxed environment. Camp is broken down into age groups with low student to teacher ratios to ensure that projects challenge and engage campers. Each Friday we welcome a Visiting Artist related to the theme to enhance learning. The week concludes with a celebration and a gallery exhibition of camper artwork for friends and family. Young artists leave our camp with new skills in collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving and self-expression. At Main Line Art Center, children develop a foundation for learning and a passion for the arts that they can build on for the rest of their lives.

About the Theme
Theres no need to travel far and wide to learn about art! Passports arent required when you learn to see the art all around us in our community. Each week takes on a new theme, so campers can build their skills over multiple sessions without repeating projects. From park side, to countryside, the mountains to the urban jungle, the possibilities are endless for creative inspiration!
