Hey guys, Im Charles Lawrence, CEO and Founder of Dance Rogue LLC, and Im very excited to begin DRs first full year in 2012! We launched our first workshops in August 2011 as a summer project, and due to high demand extended DR yearround to bring our intensives all over the country, and recently even the world! I spent November and December 2011 in the beautiful and culture-rich city of Baku, Azerbaijan working with the US Embassy on their countrys first Hip Hop production, Leyli v Mcnun, and spreading my love for dance to the people of Baku, who welcomed me into their lives and culture with open arms. Their passion and hunger for dance and learning have inspired me to take Dance Rogue to even greater heights this year, and I invite you to join the ride! My experience starting Dance Rogue has lead me to new places, people, opportunities, but greatest of all: a new family. My team and faculty members motivate me to never give up, and never look back. They are a group of inspirational people, phenomenal dancers, and most importantly they are master teachers of their craft. I believe that the ability to teach is a gift, and I am blessed to have so many gifted dancers working with me. This year I want our message to students to be that their Dreams can become Reality. Dance Rogue began as my dream, and is now a living, breathing and functioning reality. Through our intensives, scholarships, faculty, Protege Program, and more I want young dancers to be as inspired as I have been to take the steps to make their dreams a reality.

Diversity is what best describes those who belong to Dance Rogues faculty. Compiled from as far away as England and Amsterdam, many have overcome major obstacles to pursue their passions and suceeded as dance professionals. From working with major artists like Usher, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and more, to working with brands like Nike and LOrel, Dos Equis and Reebok DRs faculty has danced around the block. . . and back again. Some are as seen on tv on networks like MTV, ESPN, BET, VH1, as well as featured on So You Think You Can Dance and Americas Best Dance Crew. They have worked alongside artists like Rhapsody James, LAUM, Suga Pop and Ade Obayomi and performed in the likes of the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, Flashmob America and Cirque Du Soleil. This talented group of dancers is now availible for choreography through DR in addition to our intensive classes!
