It is your sins, rather, that separate you from God. It is your iniquities that veil his face, so that he does not hear you. (Isaiah59:2) For I know the number of your crimes and how grievous are your sins: persecuting the just, taking bribes, turning away the needy at the gates. (Amos5:12) The hot-tempered man provokes disputes, his anger multiplies his sins. (Proverbs29:22) and now she will bear a son. You shall call him 'Jesus' for he will save his people from their sins. (Matthew1:21) But I tell you this: anyone who looks at a woman to satisfy his lust has in fact already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew5:28) And he went on, "What comes out of a person is what defiles, for evil designs come out of the heart: theft, murder, adultery, jealousy, greed, maliciousness, deceit, indecency, slander, pride and folly. All these evil things come from within and make a person unclean." (Mark7:20-23) and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive all who do us wrong, and do not bring us to the test. (Luke11:4) I tell you: no. But unless you change your ways, you will all perish as they did. (Luke13:3) But he will reply: 'I don't know where you come from. Away from me all you workers of evil.' (Luke13:27) He said to them, "You do your best to be considered righteous by people. But God knows the heart, and what rises high among humans is loathed by God. (Luke16:15) That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. And you shall die in your sins unless you believe that I am He. (Acts22:16) and do you think that by condemning others you will escape from the judgment of God, you who are doing the same? This would be taking advantage of God and his infinite goodness, patience and understanding, and not to realize that his goodness is in order to lead you to conversion. If your heart becomes hard and you refuse to change, then you are storing for yourself a great punishment on the day of judgment, when God will appear as just judge. (Romans2:3-5)

So on one side is Sin: its reward, death; on the other side is God: he gives us, by grace, life everlasting in Christ Jesus, our Lord. (Romans6:23) My inmost self agrees and rejoices with the law of God, but I notice in my body another law challenging the law of the spirit, and delivering me as a slave to the law of sin written in my members. (Romans7:22-23) What the flesh seeks is against God: it does not agree, it cannot even submit to the law of God. So, those walking according to the flesh cannot please God. (Romans8:7-8) Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but let God be the one who punishes, as Scripture says: Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. And it adds: If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him to drink; by doing this you will heap burning coals upon his head. Do not let evil defeat you, but conquer evil with goodness. (Romans12:19-21) Therefore, if anyone eats of the bread or drinks from the cup of the Lord unworthily, he sins against the body and blood of the Lord. (1Corinthians11:27) You well know what comes from the flesh: immorality, impurity and shamelessness, idol worship and magic, hatred, jealousy and violence, anger, ambition, division, factions, and envy, drunkenness, orgies and the like. I again say to you what I have already said: those who do these things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians5:19-21) Do not be fooled. God cannot be deceived. You reap what you sow. The person who sows for the benefit of his own flesh shall reap corruption and death from the flesh. He who sows in the spirit shall reap eternal life from the Spirit. (Galatians6:7-8) Do not let even one bad word come from your mouth, but only good words that will encourage when necessary and be helpful to those who hear. (Ephesians4:29) Know this: no depraved, impure or covetous person who serves the god 'Money' shall have part in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for these are the sins which God is about to condemn in people who do not obey. (Ephesians5:5-6) Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, thus becoming an accomplice in the sins of others. Keep yourself free from blame. (1Timothy5:22) So Christ is the mediator of a new covenant or testament. His death made atonement for the sins committed under the old testament, and the promise is handed over to all who are called to the everlasting inheritance. (Hebrews9:15) Once this desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin, when fully grown, gives birth to death. (James1:15) Anyone who knows what is good and does not do it, sins. (James4:17) There will be healing if you confess your sins to one another and pray for each other. The prayer of the upright man has great power, provided he perseveres. (James5:16) be sure of this: he who brings back a sinner from the wrong way will save his soul from death and win forgiveness for many sins. (James5:20) So, give up all evil and deceit, hypocrisy, envy and every kind of gossip. (1Peter2:1) He went to the cross burdened with our sins so that we might die to sin and live an upright life. For by his wounds you have been healed. (1Peter2:24)

Above all, let your love for one another be sincere, for love covers a multitude of sins. (1Peter4:8) If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all wickedness. (1John1:9) He is the sacrificial victim for our sins and the sins of the whole world. (1John2:2) If you say, "I know him," but do not fulfill his commands, you are a liar and the truth is not in you. (1John2:4) You know that he came to take away our sins, and that there is no sin in him. (1John3:5) But those who sin belong to the devil, for the devil sins from the beginning. This is why the Son of God was shown to us, he was to undo the works of the devil. (1John3:8) The one who hates his brother is a murderer, and, as you know, eternal life does not remain in the murderer. (1John3:15)
