Research Scientist Dec. 2006-Present * Manage and perform research in CDC category-A & B bio-threat agents for develo pment of vaccine against Francisella and Salmonella spp. using molecular biology , microbiology and immunology techniques in BSL-2 and 3 laboratories. * Supervise masters and Ph.D students. * Received two NIH funding and associated in writing the proposal. * Published 10 papers in peer reviewed journals and presented 15 posters and ora l presentations in meetings. Post-Doctoral Researcher Nov. 2003~ Nov. 2006 * Perform and standardized research protocols for Francisella genetics and devel oped cryo-transformation technique for Francisella tularensis. * Identified several virulence factors of Francisella tularensis using genetics and in-silico analysis. * Received NIH funding and associated in writing the proposal. * Published 2 papers and presented 4 posters.
