Important notes and dates

Cooking money : Punctuality
Please ensure you arrive on time for school! School starts promptly at 8.50am therefore children should be at school at 8.45am to ensure we can start on time. The doors to the Reception classrooms will be closing promptly- if you get to the doors and they are closed you have to go round to the office! When children are late it disrupts their learning and takes them longer to settle. Learning starts at 8.50am ensure your child does not miss out! This term we will be enjoying a range of exciting cooking experiences with a focus on healthy eating, so please do remember the 1 a week contribution for our cooking fund. If you would prefer to do it termly it is 6.

THANK YOU! Sewing Helpers

We already have a wonderful team of reading helpers and this term we would love some sewing helpers. If you have some spare time and feel you could assist please let us know!

Outside wear
With the wet weather we have been having and will continue to have this term please ensure children have appropriate clothing for school. This means a waterproof coat and, if possible, a pair of named welly boots. A great idea is to include a pair of named socks in your childs book back as they can sometimes become wet inside welly boots.

Book Bags
Please ensure that your child brings their book bag to school every day! A range of notices are given out and without bags they will become lost. It is also so important that children have their reading book on the correct day so ensuring their book bag is bought to school will encourage this.
