TODAY through Friday, Jan. 18 20, M/S & H/S students are to go straight to the cafeteria as soon as they arrive at school, pick up their breakfast tray, & report to their first exam period classroom of the day. Students will eat breakfast in the exam classrooms. The 3rd Annual Franklin County School Miss Seahawk Pageant will be held Feb. 25 in the FCS Cafetorium. To be eligible, young ladies must be enrolled in Franklin County School, grades Pre-K through 11th. The entry fee is $60. There will be five age/grade divisions. Contact Ms. Lynn Clark at 850-228-2661 for a packet or more information. Registration forms along with $60 entry fee must be turned in by Feb. 3rd. Late registration with additional fee of $15 may be accepted up until Feb. 17th.

**Mardi Gras Celebration: Feb 3-4 in Apalachicola! This will be the first time since 1916 that there will be a Mardi
Gras Parade in Apalach! The parade will be on Fri., Feb 3, starting @ 5:30pm with a concert afterwards. On Sat., Feb 4, there will be a Mardi Gras Ball at the Fort Combs Armory with Dinner & Show @ 6:30pm for $50 or General Admission @ 7:30pm for $25. If you would like to participate in the parade, or would like more info, call 653-3113 or visit www.habitatfranklin.org . Proceeds go to the Franklin County Habitat for Humanity!

GED CLASSES
GED Classes will be held again at Franklin County School starting Jan. 23, 2012. Classes will be on Mondays & Tuesdays from 4:00-8:00pm. Register with Ms. Linda Bradley during class hours in the 1100 Building, Room 1111. The next GED Test will be given Feb. 27 & 28, 2012 at the Franklin County School library at 6:00pm. To register for the test contact Maxine Creamer @ 670-4481. The Franklin County Adult Education Courses do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, National origin, age, handicap, or marital status.
