Hello!

We are a team of enthusiastic students at Edinburgh Universities organizing a charity event taking place on the 16 of February in Bristo Square: THE VINTAGE VILLAGE FETE.

We have already managed to win a generous grant from the Universities of Edinburgh Dragond s Den Competition and are now looking for creative students to join our production team! What is the event? A Vintage Market & Old Fashioned Eatery hosted in Vintage Army Tents. Acoustic Music Sessions hosted in a red Vintage Double-Decker Bus. Other entertainments include huge 3D Jelly creations, Vintage Costumiers, Vintage Barber & Grooming Corner, A Charleston Workshopa (but we wouldnd t want to give it all away!)

Publicity Events Live & Unsigned Competition, showcasing amateur musicians to record labels and agents. The Debonaired s Bicycle Derby, The Pop-Up Vintage Tea Shop, The Swing Flash Mob, Pimm s O Clock & The Secret Cinema... Unannounce promotional stunts being hel lea ing up to THE FETE throughout E inburgh & University Campuses. How coul you help?

So far we are alrea y a team of 20 stu ents, but we are missing artistic han s an hea s! As ECA stu ents you coul contribute towar s the creative aspect of THE FETE: Creative Assistant: Marketing (Publicity prints & me ia pro uction); Pro uction & Logistics (Publicity stunt pro uction & creative pro uction of the event). Film Crew: Filming Publicity stunts, The Re Bus Sessions & Teasers (an opportunity to work in collaboration with professional musicians an professional short film Director). Construction Team: Han s on pro uction team (Publicity Stunts & Pro uction aspects of the event). Pro uction Team: If you are intereste in being more involve in whole pro uction process then become a member of our pro uction team; ( epartments

include: Finanace & Fundraising, Production & Logisitics, Marketing & Communications, Music & Entertainments, Health & Safety). Why do we need your help? THE VINTAGE VILLAGE FETE will be an unique and exciting event requiring a considerable amount of work, effort and people to reach the high quality we hope to achieve. We are looking for enthusiastic students, with varying talents to contribute towards the many different aspects of this project, both in its inception & creation. Why are we doing this? All proceeds from THE FETE will be going to the following charities, supporting the local and national artistic community: 1) The Forest; An active community center in Edinburgh completely reliant on volunteer work; has offered free exhibition and performance space all-year round for the last 10 years. This year the charity which sponsored the cost of their building filed for bankruptcy, leaving the Forest Organisation to fend for themselves. They are now attempting to raise the money to buy back their home directly from the bailiffs.
