March 2008 - May 2009 Deputy Director of Deployment Operations - Global Linguist Solutions (GLS) TS/SSBI Program management of deployment operations for a 10,000 employee, $4.6 billion contract that provides linguists, translators and cultural advisors in s upport of the war effort in Iraq. Responsible for the management of the Conus Re placement Center (CRC) operations at Ft Benning, GA and all deployment requireme nts including the Contractor Verification System (CVS) and Travel Document proce ssing and management. Action Offic er for DOIL (Facilities and Logistics) Chief. Assists with facilities and space management. Analyzes work processes and develops metrics for measurement of per formance. Managed and organized facilities related functions at th e Washington Planning Center; the 16,000 sq. ft. testing facility for PMA-281 (T omahawk mission planning). Responsibilities included tracking deliveries, logist ics, emergency and routine Public Works issues including constant HVAC problems. Also monitored facilities IT upgrades, testing and builds. Responsible for acqu iring and negotiating contractor bids and scheduling of work for all construction or related projects.
