A Khemetic Spell casting technique used in Egypt primarily for sending dreams (to another) (In construction) The original inspiration came via a dream so perhaps it was also sent via same method. This was circa Jan 2012. The dream was of "St Neper's day" which would be in the month of Khonsu approximately March/April in Julian calendar when they are born and they are used in the Khoiak festival of Oct/Nov. The instructions for lunar timing given in private spells show is was adapted for use in any month. - (Nepers) are corn mummies - bit like a fetish or talismanic doll - perhaps an hint to get one ready. Michael Clarke wrote that: From now on until the end of March the corn dolly made after the harvest would be ploughed into the first furrow in a field. The corn spirit who would otherwise be houseless over the cold winter months would re enter the field to fructify it. Joan Lansberry supplied the following links for the Corn mummy at Brooklyn museum: http://www.joanannlansberry.com/fotoart/brklyn/corn-mum.html" Neper or Khoiak/Sokar figures are used in Egyptian rituals of dream sending. There's an example page 324 in Betz Greek Magical papyri is you have it - in a whole section on dream sending.

These ancient grimoires can be difficult to make sense of but one method is to make a tray of tin foil seven finger breadth long (temple version measures one cubit, these instructions are for private use) - perhaps in anthropoid form (baking shops?) - fill with fine soil from the appropriate place. On the new moon sprinkle with seeds - allow seven days to germinate, another 7 for invocation up to full moon when it is either burnt and ground up or buried ... Notes: 7 is appropriate magical and sethian number. 7 is also a factor of 70 as in Kabbalah of nine chambers. Ie Every one of our days equivalent to 10 divine ones. - thus 7 x 10 = 70. The tinfoil is suggested by the talismans Iranians make for spring equinox? You can sometime buy them in Persia delis - a round foil dish is lunar/solar I guess. Planted with cotton wool and grass seeds - germinated. Khemetic Golden Dawn (Find us on facebook) or www.ombos.co.uk
