Zardari Needs Full Backup Support of Party

By Dr.Masood Tariq Arain Hyderabad, January 13, 2012 Manifesto less politics, fragile party structure and pseudo-political coworkers, force the political leaders either to subordinate or confront the establishment for politics or governance instead of reciprocal, honorable, reliable and fruitful institutional working relationship to perform their charter of duties according to the constitution, laws and rules of business. Therefore, public feels disappointment, remains dissatisfied, become disillusioned from politicians and political parties. Hence, opportunists, hypocrites and power as well as money hunger persons get the opportunity to arrange, manage or attain the domination and control of governance or politics. It results administrative victimization, judicial injustice, economical disaster and social polarization.

In Pakistan, political parties were/are never organized and systemized by the party owners according to the political ethics and manners along with party manifesto. Therefore, most of political parties work like Private Limited Companies and have their own sole agents, distributors and salesmen. Because of that most of the politicians have their own paid workers and working partners. They behave with the political workers like customers and they treat the general public like slaves.

However, in prevailing political scenario of Pakistan, it is in the best interest of government as well as parliamentarians, political system and democracy that the constitutional institutions should be supervised by the consultation as per constitution, legal departments be governed by the suitable laws and autonomous bodies be managed by proper rule of businesses through honest and competent persons. Otherwise, atmosphere for collapse of government is fully ripped and inevitable.

In matter of fact, personality based politics by the way of own agenda through individually managed and self loyal persons as an alternative of party manifesto politics results nonsystemized and un-organized party structure, un-skilled and un-experienced leadership, nonpolitical aptitude workers. Whereas, establishment is well skilled and organized, experienced and systemized in bureaucratic and administrative duties at national, provincial and local level. At present, as a constitutional institution, Judiciary is out of government strain and enthusiastic to perform their institutional charter of duties moreover as a constitutional institution;

establishment is out of government stress and determined to accomplish their institutional charter of duties. However, due to misgovernance and misrule as well as confrontation with Army and Judiciary, chaos and confusion is increasing day by day. Therefore, according to the political wisdom, in existing political circumstances; proper organization and systemization of PPP and political reconciliation with PPP BB Bloc is of vital importance for Zardari because, as compare to the rivalry with political opposition, game of confrontation with Army and Judiciary is a dangerous shot, which cant be played by the fragmented political party. If Zardari is really going towards the clash with Army and Judiciary then he needs full backup support of appropriately organized and systemized political party and endorsement of political allies. Because, internal split of PPP, specially counteract of PPP BB Bloc rebellions will be a damaging and destroying act for Zardari at the time of clash with Army or Judiciary. As for allies are concerned, definitely they will not stand with Zardari when they realized that the clash with Army or Judiciary is suicidal, especially when own party is at rebellious and general public, civil society and media is in the favor and support of Army and Judiciary.
