Data Transfer Techniques one time data transfer periodic data transfer BI with all backends...

ERP with all backends... Central User Administration ALE(Application Link Enabling): is used to communicate between loosely coupled systems.. BAPI:(Business Application Programming INterface) tRansction Code BAPI. Define Sender/Receiver(BD64/BD54) and Distribution Model

RFC: Remote Function Call ARFC SRFC TRFC QRFC Process Integration makes use of the above RFC Connectivity and defines certain standards for data transmission called as Quality of Standards(QoS) SRFC is referred as Best Efforts(BE) TRFC is referred as Exactly Once(EO) QRFC is referred as Exactly once in Order(EOIO) SAP to NON-SAP Systems: EDI(Electronic Data Interchange):it is used to provide a mechanism to transfer t he data from sap to non-sap systems EDI process the Data Transfer using predefined custom programs and need to monit or the status only in the sap System. SAP Provided XI3.0 which is based on WEBAS640 and PI7.0/Pi7.1/PI7.3 which are based on WEBAS 7.0/7.1/7.3 (eSOA-Electronic Service Oriented Architect ure) XI :it is used to process the messages between the two systems i.e, between send ing and receiving Systems. Example: A Company with SAP System wanted to tranfer data (two way) with their dealers.

All the Participants in the message transfer are required to register in the SLD .. sending systems/receving systems are registered as Technical Systems with-->Busi ness Systems Integration Repository:(design Time): it is used to define the Data Objects,URN( uniform resource Name),mapping objects, import defintion of RFC and IDOC's. The predefined XI Content can be imported into Xi Engine. http://hostname:50000/rep Integration Directory:(Config Time)it is used to define the sender, receiver, send er and receiver agreements, receiver determination etc..... http://hostname:50000/dir Working with XI: SLD is mandatory to work with XI> SLD is used to register the partcipating systems in the intergration. Example: Technical Systems,BUsines Systems,Adapter Engine, Integration Server,Integration Engine etc... SLD should be updated with the latest CIM/CR Content to display the the products and softare components which can be compared to technical systems. Technical System: it can be a ABAP/JAVA/Thirdparty systems/standalonne Engines. Business Systems: The System that is going to particiapate in the integration.it is a technical system with Client. There are two types of Roles in the business System. 1.Application System : This System can be a Sender/Receiver which communicates with Integration Server. 2.Integration Server: The Business System which is configured as Integration Ser ver is called PI/XI Engine(server). by default every system based on WEBAS640 and above is an integration Engine.(SX MB_ADM). Transaction SXMB_ADM is used to configure either application system or integrato n server.(it is part of the post installation activity) Execute SXMB_ADM-->Integration Engine Configuration-->set the role of business s ystem-->Integration Server-->save The Systems which are based on WEBAS 640 and above can communicate each other us ing IS(integration Server) with out any adapter due to inbuilt integration Engin e Ex: 4.6C requires adapter and BW 3.1 requires adapter.
