General English is the core programme. The purpose of which is to develop effective communication and fluency by focusing on the 4 main skills: Listening Speaking Reading Writing Level-Beginners to Advanced A placement test will be given to you on your first day at school or you can pass an online test prior to arrival. Lesson structure 9:00 till 12:15 With a 15 minute break in the middle.

A task-based programme designed for professionals who use English in their work and wish to increase their confidence and fluency for social and business purposes. Family Programme
A holiday and learning experience for the whole family. Adults can take 20 or 25 lessons of English courses in the morning, while their children participate in the Kids Club or Young Learners Club. Children and parents study at the same time, and in one location. Choose Kids Club for English Play, or Young Learners Club for classroom lessons.

After class - enjoy the beaches and sites of beautiful Cyprus, participate in the social programme, or let the Student Liaison Officer organise an excursion to one of Cypruss fascinating destinations. The Language Explorer also offers residential Junior Summer Camps in Episkopi, a 15 minute drive from Limassol. Parents can visit their children every Sunday. Dates: 25 June 28 July Children age: 6 -11 years Contact hours: 4 hours Class size: average 10, maximum 15 Schedule : 9:00 -13:00 A play-based programme in our activity centre of the school, where children are introduced to English through a variety of fun activities: games, crafts, songs, sports and field trips. Kids learn English vocabulary during interactive lessons specifically designed for their age. Teachers and teaching assistants are Native English speakers and all communication is in English.
On arrival, you will receive the following assistance: Introduction to the school and key staff members Welcome Pack, which will include the social programme of that week, emergency information and maps of the island A placement test to identify your English level. We encourage students to do the online level test prior to arrival. An opportunity to either borrow (20 Euros) or buy (40 Euros) the coursebook required for your studies.

Studying English in Cyprus is not all about being in the classroom. You will explore Cyprus and make new international friends to maximise your experience. Lets explore! We offer the opportunity to enjoy the rich Mediterranean culture through excursions, festivals, traditional food and dancing and many other activities. Lets socialise! We arrange lots of events that help you to make new friends and keep up with your English conversations in a casual atmosphere. The cost of the social programme is not included in the price of study. However, there are many events in Cyprus for you to enjoy which are fairly priced for individuals on any budget.

Summer Camp
The Language Explorer Junior Summer camp offers a safe, yet fun atmosphere for young learners. We make every effort to ensure an encouraging learning environment and days filled with stimulating and fun activities. The Summer Camp runs on the premises of Episkopiana hotel, based in tranquil Episkopi village. It is 15 minutes drive from Limassol. To maximise learning effectiveness, the lessons take place in a fully equipped school, located less then 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We use the facilities of both - the school and the hotel to run our daily activities.

The safety and welfare of students is our main priority. The Language Explorer staff are specially selected and include qualified teachers, sports specialists, and lifeguards. Individual students will be supervised by Language Explorer staff at all times. Students must purchase insurance before arrival at the resort.

Each two-week programme includes: 2 full-day excursions, selected to give students the opportunity to find out more about the history and culture of Cyprus. Nicosia, the divided capital: Explore the capital through visits to the Venetian walls, fine museums and the old Ledra street area with its quaint cafes. Take a walk down to the Green Line, the boundary that now divides the capital and there will be plenty of time left to do some shopping. Lazy Day Cruise: Includes a visit to Aphrodites Rock, Pafos Harbour, & Ancient Mosaics at the House of Dionysus. 1 afternoon or 1 evening visits to Limassol in the 2 week period. Students visit the old town and experience the charm of the medieval castle, cafes and shops.
