Career Service Subprofessional Examination Paper-and-Pencil-Test to establish a register of eligibles from which certification and appointment to the second and first level positions in the civil service shall be made, provid ed said eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements of the position s. DATE OF EXAMINATION DATE OF FILING OF APPLICATION May 22, 2011 February 21, 2011 to April 7, 2011 October 16, 2011 May 23, 2011 to September 1, 2011 Acceptance of applications shall be on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis. Applic ations may no longer be accepted before the deadline if the target number of app licants has already been reached by the CSC Regional/Field Offices. A. SCOPE OF THE EXAMINATIONS The Examinations shall cover the following subject areas: Level Number of Items Professional Verbal 40 Analytical 50 Numerical 40 General Information Total 150 Subprofessional Verbal 45 Clerical 40 Numerical 40 General Information 20 Total 145 The General Information test items shall include the following areas: Ph ilippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Official s and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts, and Env ironment Management and Protection. C. PASSING GRADE To pass the test, the examinees should get a rating of at least 80.00. D. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Applicants are advised to check carefully whether they meet the admissio n requirements stated below. Only those who meet the admission requirements sho uld apply for the examination, otherwise, their applications shall be disapprove d and the examination fees paid shall be forfeited. 1. At least 18 years of age on the date of filing of application; for May 22, 2011 CSE-PPT, applicant must be born on or b efore February 21, 1993 for October 16, 2011 CSE-PPT, applicant must be born on or before May 23, 1993 2. Must be Filipino citizen; 3. Must be of good moral character; 4. Have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude, or disgraceful or immoral conduct, dishonesty, exami nation irregularity, drunkenness or addiction to drugs; 5. Have not been dishonorably discharged from military service or d ismissed for cause from any civilian positions in the government; 6. Applicant with pending administrative and/or criminal cases may take the examination and shall be conferred the eligibility if they successfully pass the same. However, this is without prejudice to the outcome of their pend ing cases. If they are found guilty of grave offenses, their eligibility shall be forfeited based on the penalties stated in the decision and pursuant to Secti on 58 (a) of the Uniform Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service an d CSC Resolution No. 010659, dated March 22, 2001; and 7. Have not taken the same level of CS Examination in less than thr ee (3) months. Those who have already passed the same level of examinations or a comparable lev el of examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission, as well as pa ssers of the Bar examination and those who graduated with honors need not apply. Applicants should not wear eye glasses or any accessory that may cover thei r facial features when they are having their pictures taken. e. plication With full name tag The name tag must show the applicant's First Nam e, Middle Initial, Last Name, and Extension Name (if any) The name tag should not be computer-generated, m eaning, the applicant should have his/her picture taken while holding his/her na me tag. 3. Any valid ID such as Driver s License, SSS ID, GSIS ID, current Of fice ID, Postal ID, BIR ID, Barangay ID, Voter s ID, Valid Passport or Police Clea rance which contain the applicant s picture, signature, birthdate, and the signatu re of the authorized head of the issuing agency. Photocopy of the same shall be attached to the application form to serve as reference for Room Examiners on th e day of the examination. 4. Examination fee of Php 500.00. Failure to take the examination on your scheduled date shall mean forfeiture of your examination fees. No request for re-scheduling is allowed. F. WHERE TO GET AND FILE APPLICATION FORMS Application forms are available at any CSC Regional/Field Offices. The same may be downloaded from the CSC website: www.csc.gov.ph. Application forms may be reproduced in 8.5 in. x 13 in. (21.6 cm x 33 cm ) size bond paper provided the same format is followed. Applicants may file the ir applications in any of the CSC Regional/Field Offices. G. EXAMINATION PERMITS Qualified applicants shall be notified of their places of examination (s chool assignment) through a Notice of Assignment. If applicants still do not kn ow their school assignment one (1) week before the examination date, they may in quire from the CSC Regional/Field Office where they filed their application. Examinees may also use the Online Query of School Assignment with Notice of Assignment system to get a print-out of their Notice of Assignment. To use this system, the examinees should log on to the CSC website and go to the Examin ation Announcement webpage or type the following path: http://webapp.csc.gov.ph/ ExamAssign/ExamAssign.htm in the address bar of their browser. H. WHAT TO BRING ON EXAMINATION DAY Applicants should bring the following on examination day: 1. Notice of Assignment or Examination Permit 2. Lead Pencil/s (No. 1 or 2) and eraser/s 3. Ball Pen (Blue or Black) 4. The same valid ID cards presented during application stage (i.e. Driver s License, SSS ID, GSIS ID, current Office ID, Postal ID, BIR ID, Barangay ID, Voter s ID, Valid Passport or Police Clearance) W A R N I N G The Civil Service Commission uses a highly reliable system to detect cheats. Any form of cheating in any civil service examination shall be considered a violati on of Republic Act 9416 and any person found guilty shall be administratively a nd criminally liable. f. Those found ADMINISTRATIVELY LIABLE shall suffer the following penalties: For t hose in the GOVERNMENT SERVICE, dismissal from the service with all the accessor y penalties of forfeiture of government benefits, cancellation of eligibility, b ar from taking any government examination, and perpetual disqualification from r e-entering government service. For PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS, perpetual bar from ent ering government service and from taking any government examination. Those found CRIMINALLY LIABLE shall be meted out the penalty of imprisonment of not less than six (6) years and one (1) day but not more than twelve (12) years and a fine of not less than Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php50,000.00) with the appropr iate accessory penalties.
