History of Bowling

History of Bowling Bowling is one of the oldest and most popular games in the world. Bowling is a sport that can be dated back to circa 3200 BC. In the 1930's, a British anthropologist named Sir Flinders Petrie discovered a collection of objects in a child's grave in Egypt that appeared to be used for a primitive form of bowling. There was a crude version of the bowling ball and pins that were all sized for a child and were very primitive. This find was discovered along with a couple of artifacts that could actually be dated back to 3200BC. This makes the origin of bowling more than 5000 years old!

The next historical bowling related find was in Germany by a historian named William Pehle whom said that there was evidence of bowling in Germany around 300AD. England took the reins about 1366 as bowling was forbidden by King Edward III. The game was taking archery practice away from his troops. It is also known that Henry VIII brought bowling back. Several types of pin games started to exist where balls were hurled towards objects for points. These objects were somewhat pin shaped but crude renditions of modern day bowling pin design and shape. As you can see, the history of bowling is rich and deep.

There are several different games that resemble modern bowling, there are ninepin variations in Europe and Petanque is popular in France. Bocce ball originates in Italy and is similar to British lawn bowling. Dutch and English immigrants each brought their version of bowling with them from their countrys to the United States also. In America, the very first mention of the word bowling is found in the book Rip Van Winkle, a famous story by Washington Irving, who gets woken up by the sound of "crashing ninepins" that was published during 1812.

History of Bowling in Malaysia

History of Bowling in Malaysia Bowling was introduced into Malaysia in 1961 when the first bowling centre called "International Bowl" was set up in Penang. In 1965 three more centres were set up one in Perak and two in Selangor. At about the same time, the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) was established under the Presidency of Raja

Kamaruddin Udar. The Presidency subsequently changed hands twice between 1965 to 1970 with Murad Hashim and Benny Yeoh as successors. In 1970 Malaysia had its first overseas success when it took the Asian bowling fraternity by storm capturing eight gold medals out of nine at the Asian FIQ Championships in Hong Kong. The members of the team then were Johnny Kim, Allan Lee, Allan Hooi, O.B. Lim, Patrick Soh and Y.K. Thong. Undoubtedly their success brought fame to the country and gave bowling a tremendous boost. Malaysia consolidated its position as one of the top Asian Bowling powers when Allan Hooi won the Asian Masters title twice in 1971 and 1972, giving more impetus to the development and popularity of the sport. Mind you all these successes were substantially the result of a few dedicated individuals pulling together and working on their own to test their skills in the international arenas rather than a Government sponsored, Congress motivated series of activities.

New Leadership and Governing Body: MTBC '74Expectedly therefore this new found reputation could not be sustained. The individual efforts however fervent could not go forward. The MTBC lacked dedicated leaders in numbers. The few pioneers that began the Sport tried their best but given the lack of funds and the shortage in human resources the Congress went into deregistration in 1973. The rut was only temporary as the following year, Dato' Dr. P.S. Nathan who was also a keen competitive bowler then, took over the helm. He revived the Congress and Malaysian

Bowling by renaming it MTBC '74 and then set out to write its Constitution, its Playing Rules and Regulations, which stand to this very day, and then proceeded to get it affiliated to the OCM and subsequently to the World Governing body of Tenpin Bowling then known as FIQ. Its Tournament organizational capabilities are second to none, having successively hosted the SEA Games (thrice), the Asian Bowling Championships, the AMF world Cup, the first World Tenpin Team Cup, the Commonweal Games Tenpin Bowling event, 28 successive annual Malaysian International and Malaysian National closed Tenpin Bowling championships and most latterly the 15th World Tenpin Bowling Championships whereat MTBC was declared by unanimous acclamation as the best organizer of World Bowling Championships and the Championship itself the best ever in its 52 year history.

Development of Bowling

Development of Bowling Bowling history continues on in the United States. A lawn bowling site was made in the heart of New Yorks battery area that was the very first permanent location to bowl and is now still called Bowling Green and is in what is now the financial district. Bowling became very popular over the years in America and had become one of the

biggest betting games. Connecticut banned any ninepin games at all in 1841. Because of mass popularity bowling was brought back. In the 1800s the tenpin game was popular because of nine pin being outlawed as a gambling game. Adding an extra pin gave people a way to keep bowling and exploited a loophole in the law. Ball and pin formations still varied by region and it wasnt until various regional bowlers clubs came together with the owner of a restaurant on Sept. 9 1895 and formed the American Bowling Congress at Beethoven hall in New York City. Consistency was born from there as was national competitions. The congress was only for men, however women had been bowling since the late nineteenth century. The women of bowling formed their own congress called the Womens National Bowling Association in 1917. Bowling really exploded from here due to the organized, agreed upon standards. The game grew in popularity.and became very popular all over America. The equipment used for bowling also had a great advance in technology as far as the first rubber ball, made in 1905 called the "Evertrue" was introduced. The Brunswick Corporation in 1914 developed a ball using what was called mineralite. The balls before this new mysterious rubber compound had been made mostly of hard wood. With the ball standardized, in 1951 the America Machine and Foundry Company purchased patents to eliminate the pinboy, a person responsible for setting up the pins, by adding an automatic pinspotter in 1952. After these innovations in the sport, media embraced bowling by the 50s and NBC had Championship Bowling, the first

airing of network coverage of bowling. Bowling for Dollars and several others followed. The sport of bowling grew and grew because of all the media attention. The sport of bowling has grown leaps and bounds from its humble carved beginnings and is still growing today. Bowling history continues to be written. New technologies have improved the bowling ball, electronic scoring, monitors that show the path and speed of your ball, and many other aspects of the game. Several different types of games and strategies have been born and so has the standard of the sport. Many people bowl on leagues and for fun, families gather for birthday parties and fun which is what the sport was based on. Bowling alleys are actually growing in numbers across the country due to popularity. The fifties were the decade of the bowler but we have a new spin on the old days with things like lunar bowling with all black lights and prize bowling. The truth is, bowling is still growing today and we are forming the way people will bowl in the future. Sports like bowling are hard to keep up with because it is constantly changing. People think of new and unusual ways of bowling and scoring every day. Ninety five million people across ninety countries still bowl every day. In the Federation Nationale des Quilleurs, bowlings best athletes regularly compete in Olympic Games and worldwide competitions and championships.

Bowling today remains one of the best activities for bonding with friends. Its always a good time getting together with friends and family for a little friendly bowling competition.

Rules and Regulations

Rules and Regulations

Lanes in a ten-pin bowling center The regulations listed here are generally based around regulations set by the United States Bowling Congress and the British Tenpin Bowling Association. These rules are followed by all sanctioned leagues and events, such as tournaments. This information is clarified by the World Tenpin Bowling Association in its "Statutes and Playing Rules". Playing area The sport of ten-pin bowling is performed on a straight, narrow surface known as a lane. This bowling lane is 60 feet (18.29 m) from the foul line to the head pin (1-pin). About 15 feet (4.57 m) from the foul line are a set of guide arrows. The lane is 41.5 inches (1.05 m) wide and normally consists of 39 wooden (commonly rock maple in the "heads", 1st 15' of lane, and for the pindeck, which begins about 2' in front of the head pin. middle of lane is a soft wood) boards or a synthetic material. The bowling lane has two sets of approach dots; from the foul line back to the first set of approach dots is about 12 feet (3.66 m) and to the second set of approach dots is about 15 feet (4.57 m) (an additional 3 feet (0.91 m)). Although this figure varies, the lane is protected by about 18 ml of oil (also known as "the shot"). The PBA events use about 30 ml of oil, and the

PWBA events use 25 ml. The oil starts from about 4 inches from the foul line and is applied for about 38 feet (11.58 m) down the lane from that point. Pins

Position of the ten pins from above USBC rules specify that a pin must be 15 inches (38 cm) tall and about 4.7 inches (12 cm) wide at its widest point, where a rolling ball would make contact. There are additional measurements which delineate the shape. The weight of a single pin must be at least 3 pounds 6 ounces and no more than 3 pounds 10 ounces (1.53 1.64 kg). Within a set of ten pins, the individual weights may vary by no more than 4 ounces (113.4 g), if made from wood or plastic coated, or just 2 ounces (56.7 g) if synthetic. The top of the pin shall have a uniform arc with a radius of 1.273 1/32 inches (32.33 0.79 mm). The USBC also has regulations governing the weight distribution of the pin from top-to-bottom. Pins are allowed one or two "voids" (holes) in the belly area (which can be viewed if the pin is cut in half from top-to-bottom). The voids are needed to balance

the narrower top half of the pin with the wider bottom half. Without them, the pins would be too bottom-heavy to fall properly when struck. In addition a standard regulation pin may lean no more than 43 degrees off center without falling. The pins must show the name and mark of the maker, either "USBC Approved" or "BTBA Approved" and appear uniform. The head pin or 1 pin stands on board 20 of the lane. Bowling ball The circumference of the ball must not be more than 2.25 feet (0.69 m), and the ball cannot weigh more than 16 pounds (7.26 kg). The ball must have a smooth surface over its entire circumference except for holes or indentations used for gripping the ball, holes or indentations made to bring the ball back into compliance with weightdistribution regulations, identification letters and numbers, and general wear from normal use. For much of the history of bowling, bowling balls were made using a three piece construction method. Starting in the mid 1990s, however, most manufacturers switched to a two-piece method. In response to these innovative ball designs, the American Bowling Congress placed further restrictions on the technical characteristics of the ball such as the radius of gyration and hooking potential. Rules of play

A game of bowling consists of ten frames. In each frame, the bowler will have two chances to knock down as many pins as possible with his bowling ball. In games with more than one bowler, as is common, every bowler will take his frame in a predetermined order before the next frame begins. If a bowler is able to knock down all ten pins with the first ball, he is awarded a strike. If the bowler is able to knock down all 10 pins with the two balls of a frame, it is known as a spare. Bonus points are awarded for both of these, depending on what is scored in the next 2 balls (for a strike) or 1 ball (for a spare). If the bowler knocks down all 10 pins in the tenth frame, the bowler is allowed to throw 3 balls for that frame. This allows for a potential of 12 strikes in a single game, and a maximum score of 300 points, a perfect game. Scoring In general, one point is scored for each pin that is knocked over. So if a player bowls over three pins with the first shot, then six with the second, the player would receive a total of nine points for that frame. If a player knocks down 9 pins with the first shot, but misses with the second, the player would also score nine. When a player fails to knock down all ten pins after their second ball it is known as an open frame. In the event that all ten pins are knocked over by a player in a single frame, bonuses are awarded.

A ten-pin bowling scoresheet showing how a strike is scored

strike: When all ten pins are knocked down with the first ball (called a strike and typically rendered as an "X" on a scoresheet), a player is awarded ten points, plus a bonus of whatever is scored with the next two balls. In this way, the points scored for the two balls after the strike are counted twice. Frame 1, ball 1: 10 pins (strike) Frame 2, ball 1: 3 pins Frame 2, ball 2: 6 pins The total score from these throws is:

Frame one: 10 + (3 + 6) = 19 Frame two: 3 + 6 = 9

TOTAL = 28 Two consecutive strikes are referred to as a "double". A double's pinfall is: Frame 1, ball 1: 10 pins (Strike) Frame 2, ball 1: 10 pins (Strike) Frame 3, ball 1: 9 pins Frame 3, ball 2: 0 pins (recorded as a dash '-' on the scoresheet) The total score from these throws is: Frame one: 10 + (10 + 9) = 29

Frame two: 10 + (9 + 0) = 19 Frame three: 9 + 0 = 9 TOTAL = 57 Three strikes bowled consecutively are known as a "turkey" or "triple". A turkey's pinfall is: Frame 1, ball 1: 10 pins (Strike) Frame 2, ball 1: 10 pins (Strike) Frame 3, ball 1: 10 pins (Strike) Frame 4, ball 1: 0 pins (Gutterball) Frame 4, ball 2: 9 pins The total score from these throws is: Frame one: 10 + (10 + 10) = 30 Frame two: 10 + (10 + 0) = 20 Frame three: 10 + (0 + 9) = 19 Frame four: 0 + 9 = 9 TOTAL = 78 Longer strings of strikes are called by various names, including "-Bagger" (Four Bagger) and "-Pack" (Six Pack) depending on local use, equipment, and exposure to the sport. Recently, the event of bowling four consecutive strikes has also been called a "hambone".Six strikes and nine strikes in a row can also be referred to "Wild Turkeys" and "Golden Turkeys" respectively. Any string of strikes starting in the first frame or

ending "off the sheet" (where all of a bowler's shots from a certain frame to the end of the game strike) are often referred to as the "front" or "back" strikes, respectively (e.g. the "front nine" for strikes in frames 19, or the "back six" for strikes in frames 7, 8, and 9 with a turkey in the tenth). A "perfect game" or 12 strikes in a row is also rarely referred to as the "Thanksgiving Turkey". A "Clean Game" is a game with strikes or spares in every frame (not counting bonus balls). A player who scores multiple strikes in succession would score like so: Frame 1, ball 1: 10 pins (strike) Frame 2, ball 1: 10 pins (strike) Frame 3, ball 1: 4 pins Frame 3, ball 2: 2 pins The score from these throws are:

Frame one: 10 + (10 + 4) = 24 Frame two: 10 + (4 + 2) = 16 Frame three: 4 + 2 = 6

TOTAL = 46 The most points that can be scored in a single frame is 30 points (10 for the original strike, plus strikes in the two subsequent frames). A player who bowls a strike in the tenth (final) frame is awarded two extra balls so as to allow the awarding of bonus points. If both these balls also result in strikes, a total of 30 points (10 + 10 + 10) is awarded for the frame. Some people call it "striking out", since three strikes in baseball equals an out. These bonus

points do not count on their own, however. They only count as the bonus for the strike.

A ten-pin bowling scoresheet showing how a spare is scored

spare: A "spare" is awarded when no pins are left standing after the second ball of a frame; i.e., a player uses both balls of a frame to clear all ten pins. A player achieving a spare is awarded ten points, plus a bonus of whatever is scored with the next ball (only the first ball is counted). It is typically rendered as a slash on scoresheets in place of the second pin count for a frame. Example: Frame 1, ball 1: 7 pins Frame 1, ball 2: 3 pins (spare) Frame 2, ball 1: 4 pins Frame 2, ball 2: 2 pins The total score from these throws is:

Frame one: 7 + 3 + 4 (bonus) = 14 Frame two: 4 + 2 = 6

TOTAL = 20

A player who bowls a spare in the tenth (final) frame is awarded one extra ball to allow for the bonus points. Correctly calculating bonus points can be difficult, especially when combinations of strikes and spares come in successive frames. In modern times, however, this has been overcome with automated scoring systems, linked to the machines that set and clear the pins between frames. A computer automatically counts pins that remain standing, and fills in a virtual score sheet (usually displayed on monitors above each lane). However, even the automated system is not fool-proof, as the computer can miscount the number of pins that remain standing. The maximum score in a game of ten-pin is 300, scored by making 12 strikes in a row. On Feb. 2, 1997, University of Nebraska sophomore Jeremy Sonnenfeld became the first person ever to roll three perfect games of 300 in a three-game series (as approved by the American Bowling Congress). This has only been achieved a handful of times since. In Britain, the youngest bowler ever to achieve a perfect single game score of 300 (12 consecutive strikes), in a sanctioned competition was 12 years, 71 days old Elliot John Crosby, at AMF Purley in South London, England in the Surrey County trials on January 7, 2006.[28] Crosby beat the previous British 300 shooter record holder Rhys Parfitt by more than a year. Parfitt was 13 years, 4 months when he achieved a 300 point game at the London international tenpin bowling tournament in 1994. In the United States, the youngest ever bowler to achieve this in a sanctioned competition is twohanded bowler Chaz Dennis of Columbus, Ohio. He achieved this competing in the

Hillcrest Preps-Juniors league at Hillcrest Lanes in Columbus, Ohio on December 16, 2006, at 10 years, 88 days old. Dennis was 20 days younger than the previous recordholder, Michael Tang of San Francisco, California, who set his record when he was 10 years, 108 days old competing in the Daly City All Stars Scratch Trios League at the Sea Bowl in Pacifica, California. Scoring may change from the above for high profile games, non-traditional games (like a 40 frame game), and variations of computer systems from age, manufacturer, or center programming. Televised games score assumes strikes for unbowled frames as needed to score bowled frames. Some computer systems use 0 instead of dash in some situations. The forty frame game gives bonus points and takes away points depending on frame. Games bowled at the National level typically do not show detail on most shots. Some computer systems will not tally scores if you string strikes to help control nerves. Most scoring modifications are just extensions of the existing rules, and the end result is the same once the game is complete.

Bowling Equipment

BOWLING EQUIPMENT

Bowling equipment includes the ball, shoes and any device, which is usually designed for the wrist or hand to be worn during the bowling process. The value of proper equipment in bowling cannot be too heavily stressed, especially with respect to the ball and shoes.

- BOWLING BALLS Thirty years ago, all bowling balls were rubber and basically identical. Though some shells differed slightly in hardness, the materials used to mold them were much the same. This is no longer true. Today, most bowling balls are now made from plastic, urethane, reactive resin or particle material. Even more with our advanced technology, most of todays bowling balls contain much softer and more abrasive surfaces in order to produce better lane gripping

stability. Besides, the technology of the bowling balls core-block design, enable more of a bowlers hook potential on the bowling ball. Also, some manufacturers have developed balls that are opportunistically better balanced while others even claim their bowling balls are slightly larger in circumference. These progressive and accelerating changes in the characteristics of the bowling ball have generated a major controversy.

The importance of the ball to a bowler is unlike similar relationships in other games. In no sport is there so much variety in the design, composition and performance characteristics of a ball as is found in bowling ball. That is some kind of additional fun while competing. Its advised to use thumb-slug/thumb-solid and finger-grips for the bowling balls holes, to give smoother delivery and less gripping efforts. Bowling Tips : The 4 considerations that a player must take into account when purchasing a bowling ball are :

Grip Total weight Surface characteristics (hardness and porosity) Tolerance of the ball balance

-BOWLING SHOES Concerning footwear, a careful inspection of shoes in use today is as important as choosing bowling balls. The sole of the sliding shoe is usually found to be a composition substitute for leather. This affects much on the bowlers sliding and stance balancing. On the other side, the rubber sole is usually found to strongly grips and thus affording more stability to a bowlers approach and delivery. When buying bowling shoes, look for the characteristics as below :

Genuine leather on the sliding sole

Soft but sturdy rubber on the non-sliding sole Shoes that fit comfortably without the feet having too much stress

Bowling Tips : Higher heels of the shoes will tend to slide more excessively while lower heels will give less sliding during approach and delivery.

- BOWLING HAND-GLOVES & BOWLING HAND-GUARDS With regard to wrist aids, bowling gloves, hand positioners, etc., there are many on the market, all are professing to do one thing or another to help a bowler execute a better shot. Whatever your preference, the decision to use a bowling aid should be based on the assurance that it will improve a specific aspect of your game. Bowling aids are principally a matter of personal preference in terms of comfort and appearance.

News of Bowling (Newspapaer Cutting and Reserch)

Coaching of Bowling

Coaching of Bowling Bowling has become one of the most popular sports in the world, and to master it you must follow the standard bowling techniques that apply to everyone regardless of their play style. The basics are how to stand, how to approach and how to release the bowling ball efficiently. Although even when you learn the steps it takes practice and experience to do everything correctly each time, depending on your play style. One of the most common mistakes made by new players is to ignore the basic rules of bowling properly and play the way they feel is right just because they can get a good score. This might be effective now but in the long run they will not benefit by this because they will not be able to overcome a certain average score, also it will be much harder to change their play style at that point.

How to play bowling using the proper technique

Bowling is a team sport that has become one of the most played nowadays. Interactive and competitive, the game requires lots of techniques and handiness in order to be properly played, qualities that can be improves towards exercise and practice! It also implies having fun with the dear ones and inflicts a positive energy state to you and the ones around you. Nowadays, it is one of the most played games, people preferring to play bowling more than playing on the computer. It is a game that requires inventively an dexterity. It is the game of the century! So it is that one of the main things that have to be taken into account in order to play bowling properly is the posture. It is very important to maintain a proper position as long as you play, a position that implies strong muscles, head up and shoulders in a straight position according to the body. More, when you take the ball in your hands, it is recommended to have it formed a 90 degrees angle with the legs and the rest of the body. This will give you more strength in the hit and, implicitly, more dexterity. In what concerns the fingers, they should be kept straight in the holes of the ball, like bows. You may not feel your body relaxed but this is exactly what bowling implies, a lot of tension. When you release the ball, you will feel how all that tension disappears and creates a chain of free energy that will overwhelm you to a maximum level.

Furthermore, it is very important to mention that balance is one of the basics when it comes to bowling. Even if you feel your body tensioned, your body must balance from one point to another in order to be able to focus your energy upon a certain point. When you hit the ball, all your energy has to focus on your left or right foot and if your body is not balancing properly, you may risk sharing only half of the required energy which will lead to a lower hit level and, consequently to a slow ball which will not be able to hit the targets. The biggest mistake that all the beginners make is that they are not able to balance properly in order to focus their energy. Most of them use only parts of their energy and then they wonder why they cannot hit the ball with strength. Nevertheless, another important thing consists in bowing your arm after the ball is released. Even if you bow your arm before releasing the ball, this will not help you very much in the tactics mentioned. In order to play bowling properly and, implicitly, hit the ball properly, you have to bow your arm up and down after you released the ball. This will keep the trajectory of the ball in the right direction and will not influence in a negative way hitting the target. If you will not bow your arm, you may take the chance to see the ball changing its trajectory permanently!

How to hold the bowling ball

How to hold the ball in bowling it is very important because holding it properly can change the whole course of the game. Like any sport, it takes practice to play well, but if you take it step by step, you can learn to play. The fundamental step is learning how to hold the ball. If you are holding it for the first time you have to observe the position of the holes and the angles they form with the rest of the ball and between them. The holes are the spots where your fingers will be placed and that is the reason why you will have to acquire them the biggest attention possible! More, when you hold the ball, you must bear in mind that both of your hands are implied in the game. Even if you will throw with only one hand, the other hand will work as a support for the hitting hand, also called the dominant hand. With the dominant hand, you place your three fingers in the holes, keep them in a straight position and do not allow them to bow! Bowing fingers will automatically lead to disequilibrium of the movement which equals to a bad hit! You will use the other hand as a support of the ball! Please bear in mind that the ball is pretty hard and learning to throw it with one hand requires a lot of practice before succeeding! So, you take the other hand and keep it on the top of the ball. You will keep it like this, above the dominant hand, while you are balancing on your legs in order to gather your all energy and move it on one

foot! When you will through the ball, you will automatically take the other hand and maintain the bowing with the dominant one! Furthermore, it is very important to mention that the ball must be hold with the thumbs of the fingers. If you are wondering how you can hold so much weight only with your fingers, here is the answer for the role of the non-dominant hand. The non dominant hand supports the weight of the ball and it helps you with lifting and balancing it before the hit. When you throw the ball, you must bear in mind that you must lift it until it reaches your chin and then you will throw it on the platform. If you do not lift it until it reaches your chins level, you will not be able to equilibrate it properly and your hit will have the lowest quality possible! All in all, it can be said that holding the bowling ball requires lots of practice and exercises. There also lots of people who think that you need talent in order to play bowling properly but still, this is not a must. Like any other sport, performance bowling is the result of special exercises that develop your muscles and the tactics of the game!

How to release the ball

Releasing the ball means understanding the axis rotation. Geometry is a very important subject when talking about axis, plans, and angles. When you release the ball, an entire geometrical construction is released also. What it is really important is the fact that you must be aware of these geometrical constructions before watching the ball running on the platform! More, it can be said that spinning is the main arm of releasing the ball. You have to observe the ball spinning a lot of time before throwing it on the platform. The spinning must be smooth and it must amply the two axis of rotation, vertical and horizontal. Most of the people prefer to spin the ball watching the horizontal axe because it is easier and handier. Still, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Usually, the experts spin the ball using an oblique position according to the centre of the ball. The oblique position allows the force to be splattered between the two plans of the ball, fact that implicitly generates a better focus of transmitting your energy to the ball. Plans and axes are important and that is the reason why you should give them the maximum importance in order to be able to play bowling properly. If you opt for the spinning according to the horizontal axe, you have to be very careful to maintain a perfect separation between the two plans. If the upper plan is not perfectly defined, your ball will definitely change its trajectory and maybe even get out of the platform.

So it is that the axis tilt must be kept to a minimum. If you use the oblique representation of the ball, you will be able to have a very nice shot and maybe a few strikes also. It may be very hard for most of the people to find out that this game requires not only exercise but also a complete understanding of the space geometry. If you are basing only on exercise you might fail at the throwing the ball chapter, thing that it is quite obligatory for the rest of the game Furthermore, a good thing that you could do in order to improve your axis rotation would be to find a good bowler who could watch you playing and teaching you exactly how to release the ball. He could explain you properly all these notions and could also explain them according to practical view. If someone sees you doing the same mistake over and over again and correcting you the same amount of times, you will be able to have very good throws after a few days! All in all, it can be said that releasing the ball in bowling requires practice, a good knowledge of geometry and, implicitly a good geometrical view. Visualizing the angles will make you understand the road of the ball and, with a lot of practice, you will be able to have the perfect hit! It is just a matter of time until you will become one of the best bowling players!
