Pro Bowl Ohana Day at Aloha Stadium Saturday, January 28 9am - Noon.
On Saturday, January 28, Aloha Stadium will be open at 9am and is giving everyone a chance to see their favorite Pro Bowlers practice and cheerleaders and mascots entertain! Free transportation will be available from Schofield and Fort Shafter, register only at himwr.com beginning January 4, spaces is limited and on a first come first serve basis. The event is free and open to the public, registration is only required for transportation.

UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS

Join your Blue Star Card friends on our latest Walk off the Wait at Kaena Fire Break Road on Tuesday, January 10. This moderate hike at the western most tip of the island will last an estimated three hours so be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen. Limited transportation will be leaving the Schofield Barracks parking lot at 8:30 am and returning around 1:00 pm. Registration is required so call 655-0002 or email Amanda.P.Montgomery@us.army.mil to sign up today! Blue Star Card Bake Off & Coupon Exchange, January 16 - Community Center Calling all Coupon Divas and Culinary Masters! The latest Blue Star Card Bake Off and Coupon Exchange will take place on Monday, January 16 from 11:00 am 1:00 pm at the Porter Community Center. Show off you baking skills with a dessert featuring this months key ingredient, Peanut Butter. Dont bake? Just come out to trade coupons with your BSC pals and sample the treats to vote for the best tasting! The winner will be next months featured recipe. Walk off the Wait: Kaena Fire Break Road, January 10

Big R: Ice Skating - January 26 Ice Palace Back by popular demand, Blue Star Card in inviting you to count down another month of deployment on Thursday, January 26 from 7:00 9:00 pm at the Ice Palace. BSC families will receive free admission to the skating rink and can feel like they are in a winter wonderland while on a tropical island. Limited transportation will be leaving for the Schofield Bowling Center parking lot at 6:15 pm. Space is limited and registration is required. Call 655-0002 to sign up or email amanda.p.montgomery@us.army.mil by January 20.

Parents Night Out


Parents Night Out will be held January 7 (AMR CDC and AMR Youth Center), January 21 (Schofield CDC and Schofield School Age Center). For more information on Parents Night Out or to make a reservation, call the Schofield Barracks CYS Services Registration Office at 655-5314 or the AMR Registration Office at 833-5393. Blue Star Card holders can use their 16 free hours for the month toward Parents Night Out!

Health and Fitness Center Kids on Site Information:


The Kids on Site care for the Health and Fitness center will remain free for valid Blue Star Card holders, Mon.-Fri., 8-11 a.m., at Kaala Community Activities Center, Bldg. 556. Registration is required. For more information please call 655-8628. This does not count against your 16 free hours of care.

INGREDIENTS
12 Nilla cookies 4 oz of whipped cream cheese 2 Eggs 1 Teaspoon of pure vanilla extract 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy 2 Tablespoon milk

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 325F. 2. Place 1 nilla cookie in each cupcake sleeve to act as your crust. 3. Combine the cream cheese, eggs, vanilla extract, milk and half of the crushed peppermint candy. 4. Pour the mixture on top of each nilla cookie. 5. Bake for 10 minutes for 325F. 6. Cool for 1 minute and use the rest of the crushed peppermint candy to decorate the cheesecake bite.
